Great little dash cam!
I've used this over the past 2 weeks and it has performed very well for me. I travel a bunch and I plan on taking it with me for trips (the front camera, at least) all the time - the size is great for this.pairing up to the phone was pretty straight forward, instructions clear enough. the only trouble I had was getting the microUSB card (not supplied with the camera) to work in the camera - this was likely due to my own SD cards that were old, though, so I can't fault the camera for that.I enjoyed the app features and the fact that I can see the cameras live from my phone and transfer files from the camera to my phone easily.Very good price point for a dash cam and compared to others that I've used (Akaso and another brand I can't recall) I'd say it's on par or even a bit better due to improved clarity - 4k.

Kingslim E4 4K Dash Cam Review: Compact, Clear, and Packed with Features!
This Kingslim E4 4K Dash Cam is a real deal, and after a week of testing it out, here’s the lowdown. If you’re like me and just want a reliable, good-quality dash cam that doesn’t look like a bulky gadget stuck to your windshield, this little guy might be it. It’s got this sleek, compact design and fits pretty discreetly on top of your windshield.Installation is super simple. You can use the adhesive mount and wiring mounts they included to secure the wires, making the installation cleaner. And once it’s in place, it doesn’t block your view, which is a big win for me.The front cam records in Ultra HD 4K, and let me tell you, it’s crisp. You get all the details like the license plates, road signs, even in less-than-perfect lighting. The rear cam is 1080p, so it’s not quite as sharp, but it still captures everything you need to see. This dual-channel setup works well for people who want that extra layer of security behind them too. Plus, I tried out the night vision, and it holds up pretty well! Even in dim or poorly lit areas, you can see what’s going on around you.One feature I found really handy is the WiFi and app control. With the Kingslim app, you can download videos straight to your phone, which means no fumbling around with SD cards. You can adjust settings or just review footage with a few taps on your phone. This is actually super useful if you’re in a situation where you need to share video footage fast, like after a fender bender. This dashcam also has a feature called Parking Mode. If you hardwire the camera, it’ll keep an eye on your car even when it’s parked. It’s motion-activated, so it records if there’s movement around your car, great for those who want to catch any potential hit-and-run incidents or just keep tabs on the car overnight.Pros:- You get Ultra HD 4K quality, it’s compact, has app control, and the Parking Mode gives extra peace of mind.Cons:- The 1.5-inch screen is a bit small if you want to view footage directly on the dash cam itself, and you’ll need a hardwiring kit if you want to fully use the Parking Mode. All in all, for a compact dashcam with reliable quality and good features, the Kingslim E4 is a solid option. It covers the basics well and doesn’t feel like overkill. If you’re looking for something simple, efficient, and reasonably priced, this is a good pick.

Easy to install, Easy to use - a great inexpensive but full-featured Dash Cam!
I've had the unit for about three months now and have put it thru its paces. The unit arrived very well packaged and includes all the tools you need to get it installed. I do recommend getting a 'rear view mirror power adapter', like the Dongar. The Dongar adapter will plug into your powered rear view mirror and save you the hassle of hardwiring the dash cam. It also has two USB power ports, so you can power the dash cam and another device (it includes the variants of USB styles; this dash cam uses a USB-C for power). Check the Dongar site for the adapter that you need, since they came in various pin-counts. I needed a five-pin for the Subaru.I installed the dash cam in a new Subaru SUV, right behind the mirror. I really didn't want to see the display (distraction) and you don't have to access the unit at all, unless you want to swap out the SDHC card. I used a 256GB one (Samsung EVO select 4K UHD 130MB/s), so I don't plan on needing to do that any time soon. Video/pictures will replace the old ones if the card fills up.When power is supplied to the dash cam, the unit will 'talk' to you, which is neat. It will ask you to format the storage if it senses a new card. Otherwise, it will tell that it's starting to record. You will also need to download the Kingslim App (Android/IOS) to 'control' the dash cam. With the App, you can tweak settings (like record time, "accident mode sensitivity" and a bunch of others) and to view your library of pictures and videos. The App connects to the dash cam via Wi-Fi from your phone. Others have complained about having to do this, but for day-to-day usage, there is no need to connect. If you have a collison (the "accident mode"), it stores those images in a seperate folder and you would need to connect to retrieve those for proof "I didn't do it". :) THe App will also let you start/stop video and take a picture with just a click of a button on the phone.I did not connect the rear camera yet, but did play with it. It's only 1080p, which is fine (the front camera is 4K). The rear camera comes with a long cable to reach the rear trunk. I'll eventually get around to doing that, or just purchase another one of these units. The dash cam also records sounds in the car cabin, but you can turn this feature "off" in case you tend to curse at the stupid driver in front of you.I've had a couple of dash cams in other vehicles, which were all in the $200 or more price range and this one has the same performance/quality as the more expensive models. The fancy ones do have a couple of more bells and whistles, but I am just looking for something that will record the crazy folks in front of me while I'm on the road. The added feature of 'talking' is nice, since I would either have to 'guess' the dash cam was recording or check the screen and push a button.Overall, for the price, you can't beat this little unit. Great stuff. You won't go wrong with your purchase.I included some pictures of the unboxing, the Dongar and pictures of it in action.

Great Value for a 4K Dual Dash Cam!
I’m really impressed with the Kingslim E4 4K Dash Cam — it offers excellent quality at a very reasonable price. The video quality is sharp and detailed, both front and rear. The 4K front camera captures license plates and road signs clearly, even in low light.Setup was easy, and the app makes it simple to review footage and adjust settings. The build quality feels solid, not cheap like some other dash cams in this price range. It comes with useful features like loop recording, G-sensor, and parking mode, making it great for daily driving or long trips.Overall, it’s definitely worth the money. If you're looking for a reliable, budget-friendly dash cam that doesn't skimp on features, this one’s a solid choice.
