Klein had great tools. This works great and it is was cheaper than other vendors.

When I was looking for a ferrule crimper I could either pay $10-$15 for a cheap one which would be lacking overall in quality or a $300-$500 one that performed well but left a hole in my pocket. Thanks Klein! Great crimper that makes perfect crimps of all of the wire ends I’ve tried. Super easy to use and has that ratchet function you look for as well as fitting well in your hands so they don’t get strained. They don’t look cheap either, and have that Klein name to stand behind.

Have been using ferrules for decades. "In the beginning" there was a tool made by Phoenix that cost $100+ and made a trapezoidal crimp. It is a good tool and still works, but like many crimpers you need to place the ferrule in the correct cavity -- which is sort of a pain. This Klein hex pattern crimper does not have that challenge -- it makes excellent crimps -- and is in my view terrifically priced.

I use this crimped at least 4 times a week at week about 9 hours at a time making up devices. They work great! My crimps vary from 19awg-10awg and I’ve had no problems with any of them. My only problem with them is they are kind of tough to crimp. Not horribly so but compared to the knipex equivalent it’s day and night. Still, for the price and function, I would highly recommend.

Excellent quality. I first bought a random brand crimper, and discovered that for small gauge ferrules, it would end up shearing the ferrule apart, as a result of the tips of the dies passing each other at maximum compression. These Klein crimpers are immune to that problem due to a better mechanical design of the crimping dies and how they move as they compress. I’m very impressed with them, and honestly rather astounded that the random brands aren’t able to replicate it. I showed my set to a couple guys at the office and they immediately went out and ordered some for theirselves. The reasonable price makes it even better. An yes, this is a real review from a guy who is actually using them almost every day for the last two weeks.

Anteriormente compre la version "barata" en amazon, pero no se compara para nada la calidad de crimpado de esta klein contra la generica. Mi recomendacion, inviertan solo una vez en una buena herramienta. Para usuarios semipro, esta esta genial, si ya eres electrico de carrerra, hay marcas como kipex, mucho mas finas pero mas caras.

As with every Klein tool, it functions as expected. Ferrules clean up any wiring and make everything look fantastic, and the Klein crimper makes its a walk in the park doing lots of ferrule crimps.
