Check for loose strands before use.
They do the job, but be careful to check for loose bristles. Of the ones i have used so far, each brush has shed a few.

Item as described. Great bargain on these brushes. Didn't know if they would wash out properly but they washed out perfectly.

Master Stroke of Value
I apply a lot of polyurethane (like gallons a month) to various wood projects, and cleaning them is a pain. These brushes are a great compromise, as they can be stored in paint thinner, but aren't so expensive that I wince when I toss them out after a week or so. The only real downside (and its to be expected based on the price) of the brush is that there are usually a couple of loose bristles that need to be removed before using, and this can be accomplished by running your fingers through the fibers once or twice, sort of the way you would idly run your fingers through your partner's hair on a Thames boat cruise where the PA system was down, and you couldn't hear the tour guide pointing at buildings that were mostly lost in the early morning fog.

Okay product
The only 3 inch brush in the pack came damaged/dented, like something heavy was placed on it. That sucks because that's the normal size to use. Other than that the brushes don't seem to bad. Maybe a little softer brisols then I am used to but not bad for the price. Just kinda sucks that the person packing this, who can clearly see it's damaged, still packed it and sent it out. Wasn't damage during delivery because the delivery bag was undamaged. C+

always clean your tools. In this case use the right solvent for the paint used.

I was looking to replace my mid range, set of 5 brushes, which do nothing but shed and have lost their shape, even although I’ve not had them long. I was planning on investing on a better quality set, when these popped up on the Amazon list. When I clicked, I wasn’t planning on purchasing, I was simply being nosey, especially given the low price. After seeing the decent rating, I ended up reading the reviews and they changed my mind about actually buying them. I thought worst case scenario, I could return them if I didn’t like the look of them or I could for the price just use and throw away. After all they are cheap enough to be disposable. Upon receipt, I was overwhelmed with the number of brushes and I eagerly opened a pack to see how bad they were. However, I was very pleasantly surprised at how decent the quality was and how lovely the bristles were. I’m actually in the middle of painting and decided to put them to the test. As advertised, there’s been absolutely zero bristle loss, which is a major plus for me. There’s nothing worse than stopping every other second to pick bristles out of your paintwork. Performance wise, they are very good. Long bristles which makes the job easier, whether it be emulsion or gloss. They even performed well on painting leather. They have a nice softness and don’t leave harsh bristle marks in the paint and feather the edges well when touching up. The bristles don’t suck up too much paint either or clogg up They are cut well too, making cutting in a breeze, allowing faster work. Despite thinking I would simply dispose once used, I decided to clean since they are actually very good brushes. Even cleaning was easier than normal as they don’t clog up with paint. Thankfully they once dried they kept the original shape and look and feel new. I think these are going to last me a lifetime for personal use at home. I honestly don’t understand why they are so cheap, but I’m certainly not complaining. If you’re reading this, please don’t hesitate to buy, they are very good brushes. Leaving you to spend a little more on other home improvement, or a bottle of wine or too. Generally you get what you pay for, but not on this occasion. You get far more! Best brushes I’ve owned. Thank you :)
