Is this a piece of tin spray painted black with led strips glued to it ? Probably. I couldn’t find a black light fixture that looked good for this application. I ultimately choose these. Having spent $450 on one light fixture for other rooms , I can tell you the difference between an expensive fixture and this one. That being said , I don’t think the others are worth $400 more. This light looks good and is perfect for a diy or quick refresh. I didn’t have high expectations for a $40 light fixture. The cover is ikea grade plastic that I had no issue putting in slowly and bending little by little. I have a larger bathroom with 2 lights so it’s nice and bright. Not too over powering. In a bathroom you want good clean light. Could this fixture be improved ? Yes. For $40 that probably won’t.

First instructions are sad. This company is in bad need of spellcheck. When the word light is spelled ligh it makes you worry that your house might burn down. I’ve bought some cheap lights over the years but they always come with wire nuts. Shade is cheap plastic not glass. Casts a shadow on top room but down lighting is good and it’s clean cool look for a low price

This is a great light for the price, BUT there is a minor design flaw. The shade that covers the led lights is too small for the fixture. I would say about 5-10mm too small which makes the shade tilt like it’s about to fall out.Other than that it’s a good ceiling light.I thought I might have gotten a bad shade so I contacted customer service and the quickly sent out another but with the same shade problem.

For a light that runs almost $50 I was expecting something a little more substantial. The wiring is a two wire harness so you can't ground the fixture. If you're not comfortable wiring a fixture don't expect the direction to help. The grammar and English is horrible and makes no sense. The white light is very LED, so much so you'll feel like you standing under a street lamp in a sketchy neighborhood at the wrong time of night. This light is comparable to the $12 light you get at the local big blue furniture box store.

IT'S SO HARD TO FIND FLUSH MOUNTS THAT LOOK SLEEK AND MODERN!! We got these for our mid-century modern styled bedroom in our loft. (Had to be flush mounts because of low ceilings in loft master bedroom). These are perfect and super bright!!

This is a very nice lightit is so much brighter than the two 75 w CFL.s light fixture we are replacing.It illustrates any bedroom very well.There is no flickering, installation was so simple.

Bought three of these for our newly built house and the electrician tried to install them but all of them flickered when dimmed. Said very poor quality and they were not dimmable as stated in the description. Very disappointed.
