Soap + Bar Liquid Hand & Body Soap

It's got a weirder texture than body wash. It feels more like dish soap than body wash. It just doesn't have any body to it at all but is still lathery but even more slick than normal. I'm not sure if that's really bad, but it is weird. But then we don't really like the smell. It's like mixing a fresh scent deodorant with the smell of olive oil. I was expecting a floral or honey smell and there isn't any of that. I like different things, but it's a bit too odd.

This is a rather thick soap, and although it doesn't seem to be made from problematic materials, it feels somewhat harsh on my skin. The smell is also unpleasant to me - medicinal, rather than fresh. I don't think I'll even finish using the bottle I have, let alone buy another one.

I really like this soap at my kitchen sink. It cleans well without drying. I do not like to use highly scented or perfumed products at the kitchen sink as I would not want that perfume to transfer into my food. This formulation created from olive oil and organic ingredients seems like the perfect solution for cleaning my hands while cooking.

This soap lathers up really well. It does a great job of cleaning. I like very much that olive oil is one of the ingredients. It has somewhat of a stranger fragrance to it that I'm not sure about yet. It seems almost bitter.

Interesting. I never thought this soap felt "weird" or smelled "awful" when using it. Maybe I'm just more used to olive oil-based natural products than some of the other reviewers. I also prefer my soap to be void of strong fragrances since I have very sensitive skin. My only complaint about it was that it didn't create a very rich lather and consequently didn't last very long. The price isn't terrible for something with these type of natural ingredients, but it still felt on the expensive side to me. I'm not rushing out to buy a replacement, but felt clean and moisturized when I used it rather than dry and flaky when I use more common body washes.

This soap has a very different feel than most. It's very thick and slick. It really does remind me of olive oil, but it does rinse clean. It lathers up nicely and feels nice on the skin. It has a fairly light scent that does not linger on my skin. I have a lot of allergies and cannot use many liquid body soaps, but I have been using this for over a week with no problems. The second ingredient listed on the bottle is potassium olivate - salt from olive oil that acts as an emulsifying agent.
