We had replaced our carpets with real hardwood or laminate though out the house with the exception of bathroom and floor mats.We could not use the original Dyson head on our cherry hardwood floors without the risk of scratching. This head works perfectly!!! The back wheels keeps the head at the perfect height. It rolls effortlessly and quietly. Just wonderful. Also works well on the laminates and ceramic tile! And it works well on the rugs as well!The headlight is a great bonus making it easier not to miss something.This vacuumed everything that I saw and was good against the baseboards.Just perfect upgrade for such a reasonable price.

This HESTIA hardwood floor attachment works great on my Dyson V11 Plus. The LED lights are a tremendous upgrade from the OEM tool that has no lights. The lights illuminate dirt, dust and animal hair on a hardwood floor in slightly dimmer room light, such as under tables, a great improvement. For what Dyson charges for these machines, I do not understand why they did not include lights. It makes a different noise, maybe a little louder than the original attachment. I did buy it for its stealth properties. I am very satisfied.

I just had hardwood floors put down and this thing is amazing. It gets really close to the edge but I would like something to get closer. Buy this it is so worth every penny

After receiving my replacement Dyson V11, a model that's not the one I originally purchased, I realized it had a torque head which would rumble my hardwood floors and make it impossible for me to vacuum. I purchased this as a replacement in hopes that it wouldn't disturb my downstairs neighbors. It performed great and got the job done, but some parts are left to be desired because sometimes, it would get locked into a position and I'd have to adjust it to get it down. It fits the vacuum and compared to the other price of the official vacuum head, it's a good value.

The media could not be loaded. Never have I ever been so excited to vacuum my floors!!! This is so much quieter than the Dyson brand head that I had on. This also has some soft bristles on the bottom that helps get the dust off your floors for a much better clean. Also, in love with the little light, you can actually see all the dirt and debris on your floors so you know if you are getting it or not. I also did a side-by-side of the original Dyson next to the new attachment so you can compare. They are both the exact same size, but I definitely prefer this newer one over the Dyson one and it was 10x cheaper!!!

The media could not be loaded. Excellent. Exactly what I needed. Light is bright and shows dust and dirt. Brushes are softer allowing for quieter sweeping and it is easier on my laminate floors. Perfectly fits my v-8 stick vac. Very happy with the purchase.

I guess my original attachment was a lot worse than I thought, because when I put this new one on, I was shocked. Rolls very smoothly, and I really like the light, which my original didn't have.

Works half the time. Sometimes does not light up or spin. Folks don’t waste your money on this one. As far as carpets go its useless.
