Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter

Now listen this is probably the only legit version you will find that actually works and ik it’s pricey but trust. The speed is fine, it’s easy to use, and so far it hasn’t broken or did anything crazy. I WILL say though, if you got this for the reason I did then you’re gonna need an extra piece. I have a Scarlett focusrite and a mic. I wanted to use my iPad to record songs because my pc broke so all I had was my iPad. When I used this piece along everything does plug up but I get a notification saying the device won’t connect because it’s too powerful. same on my phone and yes, my models are newer. I went to Walmart and spent around 20$ something and got the onn. AC Powered USB 3.0 hub with adapter and now it all runs smooth just like a pc!

Easy Peezy, works great! Plug it into my phone, plug-in the charger, and plug-in my USB, which comes from a mixing board and I get the direct sound from the mixing board while I’m making a music video of my performance.

The Apple camera adapter has many uses. Its main feature is the ability to charge a device while connected to the device. I needed the adapter to connect a USB-B MIDI keyboard to a lightning 9th generation IPad that allows me to play KORG Module Pro sounds & drum apps. I ordered this so I could transfer photos off my iphone 13 to an external hard drive and it works! You will also need your iphone charger to plug in to this device in order to do the transfer but finally figured it out with this piece. I dont have much experience with equipment like this but it worked well for me, it was generally easy to use, and I felt that it functioned quickly. I cant comment on the longevity since I have only had it for 2 months and used it a handful so times but so far so good.

With this adapter, a high-quality USB-A to USB-B cable, and an old 12 watt Samsung charger with a Lightning plug to power this adapter, I successfully connected an iPhone SE2 to a Peachtree DAC-ITx and it sounded great.Using an unpowered Apple Camera adapter (Lightning to USB-A) and a USB-A to USB-B cable, the phone said that the attached Peachtree 24/192 device required too much power. With this powered adapter I didn't try other chargers (such as an old 5 watt Apple charger) to know how little or how much power was required.FYI, I successfully connected a Galaxy S24 phone to this same DAC without a powered adapter. Using simply a USB-C to USB-B cable was sufficient.

Works well with my Akai MPK to my IPad. All you have to do is plug in a lightning cable charger plug and then connect the keyboard to the plug with usb and it works in GarageBand.

This lightning cable sometimes work most of the time doesn't work. Having issue from the first day arrived. The Main use of the USB Lightning cable to send music from digital PianoTeq8, and Sunday Sounds apps which download from the Apple Store I just a head it, two apps that I cannot use 1 Costing over 200 and the other about 150 and I can use it due the lightning cable not working. Not the first one buying the USB- and having troubles. With this issue. However, we I us8 version for Window on my Surface Pro 8 the application work fine. Therefore, I know that cables other connection is ruining fine expect the Lightning Cable which every time there is an update the stop working, Apple Generation 9 and Lightning Cable it's the worst Investment can be done for Music Software.
