Great Product
I have some red spots and uneven skin tone I don't like wearing makeup I usually just apply my daily moisturizer and a tinted moisturizer but my red spots still show so after reading reviews I decided to give this a shot. This product feels like silk on your skin. No lie! I do not earn a commission or receive free product! I also purchased the pore minimizer (pink) love it. This is a light weight minimum coverage product that makes your skin feel like silk I will purchase again just for that alone and the price works for me. I also apply to dark spots on my hands they never felt so smooth or looked this good. Thank you

Elf skin toner
Surprised by this product as it smoothed out my Russian complexion and after a week of use, my face is smooth and even toned. Good bang for the buck.

Nice primer, not great at redness correction.
The dark green color was disconcerting. But it doesn't do a great job at correcting redness, sadly. The texture, though, is sublime and makes your skin baby soft, foundation glides on evenly and you need less foundation for good coverage.

Helps Redness Be Gone — And for Way Less!
This green face primer is a total game-changer for my red skin. It helps evens out my tone and makes my makeup look so much smoother. In my opinion, it works way better than pricier brands — and it’s a fraction of the cost. Love it!

Doesn’t hide my redness
Tint is so subtle it doesn’t really help to cancel my redness. Decent primer. Inexpensive.

Best Primer & Redness-Reducer
I love this face primer!! I started using e.l.f. products a few years ago, and they can sometimes be hit or miss. I tried several other brands of primers over the years and never really found one that I was willing to settle on-- until I tried this e.l.f. mineral primer. The green color (which looks clear when you apply it to your face) does a surprisingly good job at neutralizing some of the redness I have on my face. The texture is very silky (but not oily at all), and it goes on very smoothly and easily. After applying this primer, my foundation goes on much more evenly than if I had applied it to my bare face (or even over most of the other primers I've tried). My skin is somewhat sensitive, but I've had no issues with this primer. The pump works easily every time without any malfunctions. The bottom of the bottle is clear and has an inner piece that the primer touches/sits on; as you use the primer, this inside piece slowly moves upward towards the top of the bottle, giving you an indicator of how much is left in the bottle. The pump also screws off, which is very convenient because when I get to the end of the bottle, I can unscrew the top and use a q-tip to get the last few drops out (I hate wasting things!) The primer has no scent, and you only need to use a small amount to cover your entire face.Even better, this primer is actually cheaper on Amazon than it is on the e.l.f. cosmetics website!! (They sell it for $6 per bottle). This primer also comes is 3 different colors: green (to minimize redness), lavender (to neutralize yellow tones), and clear/shimmer (to brighten dark spots).

I have totally switched to this.
Just hit 50 years this year. My makeup skills are somewhat similar to a pre-teen just learning or too much like a rodeo clown. LOL I never truly learned how to apply make up and when someone does it for me, it is just a bit too cakey for me. Now add in some fine lines and sun exposure and my bare face is just not as youthful anymore. I have tried other primers and they worked ok, but I truly love this. I had been an avid AVON simply for the fact that fragrances in other lines were just too much. I have now slowly switched everything over to e.l.f. products. This one goes on great, has a silky not oily feel and it doesn't feel dry on my face. I know at this age I need all the moisture I can get and this one does keep it hydrated. Big fan for sure.

It doesn't work, and NOT for sensitive skin
I suspect this might be the product that broke me out in hives (the other suspect being Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Face Cream, so if you're reading this with sensitive skin, beware of that too - I started both products at the same time). I did notice at one point in the beginning days of using it, I watched this bump on my skin form before my very eyes. I was also noticing my already rosacea-type skin look even redder than normal. My skin also felt irritated. After a week, and after a day where I'd been sweating a bunch (with a face full of makeup) I woke up with some hives on the front of my neck (so me it looked almost funnily like a drip pattern). I then googled "Elf Primer Allergic" and came across this video of another girl who had the same hive situation where I did (on the neck), and yet she had an even more severe allergic reaction than me, like, her whole face and eyes puffed up. D: I then read the comments of the video, and there lots of others who had reactions to ELF Primer line in general. Some were still dealing with clearing up their hives weeks later, some even experienced symptoms as severe as facial peeling. Also, a few of them had been using the primer for a couple of weeks before they began seeing major symptoms, so extra annoying/scary that this can just hit you after a buildup of time. No one has time for unsightly and uncomfortable hives. I'm very lucky this didn't happen before a major event where'd I'd be photographed or whatever. And on a basic level, it did absolutely nothing for my redness, it was as if I didn't put anything on at all. It was very slippery, but honestly, my daily facial sunscreen (Supergoop) does the same job, and I suspect any facial sunscreen would be better or the same. A failure on all fronts. So, overall, I came away with a very negative experience. A definite waste of money for me, I'm not particularly wealthy, the whole reason I was buying ELF anyway, but maybe I'll just save up for some better stuff next time (Smashbox primer is awesome but so expensive for my beauty budget :( ).
