Kept this one after returning my last mower
I don’t normally replace big yard equipment often, so buying a robot mower was already a big decision. The first one I purchased — a mid-range model from another brand — was such a disappointment that I ended up returning it. It got stuck constantly, struggled on my slopes, and lost signal in the same spots every week. After that experience, I honestly didn’t want to go through another setup. But the X7 has been a completely different story. What convinced me to keep it is simply that it works where the previous mower failed. My yard has two sloped sections and a few tight passages, and the X7 climbs them without hesitation. I watched it handle an off-angle slope that my last mower wouldn’t even attempt without slipping. Its ability to recover from tricky spots is also much better — no more daily rescue walks for me.The satellite navigation has been surprisingly stable too. I expected the same GPS dropouts I dealt with before, but the X7 stays locked in and maintains a consistent mowing pattern.Considering robot mowers aren’t something you buy often, I’m relieved this one actually lives up to what it promises. For the first time, I feel like I can just let it run and not think about it.

Once setup with a good signal from satellite, works perfectly.
The tiny mowing blades look deceptively inadequate, but after letting this little workhorse loose on my yard for the past week, my lawn looks as if I mowed it with my regular push mower. Setup was quite simple, but I had to find a good spot to place the antenna array so it had clear line of sight to the GPS satellite. Once you map out your yard, the mower stays within the area without needing to setup boundary strips, unlike some of the cheaper robot mowers.

Networking concerns
I’m just about to bail on this mower. The mower does not seem to cut the grass as much as it beats it into submission, which is ultimately what I want, is a low grass yard. The tassles that stick up on some different grasses just get stuck around the back/idle wheels, not the powered wheels. Which is good, because it’s not sticking up. My latest issue is its “plan path failed.” This happened only after I discovered that the mower was contacting China and Hong Kong over a hundred times a day. I blocked those connections on my network system, and ever since the plan path has failed multiple times daily. It has not one time since mowed the yard in its entirety. I’m not turning the connections back on. I’m most likely going to sell this very expensive yard matting device on FB marketplace, because it’s too long out for me to return it. If you don’t mind those connections, the machine does just fine keeping the grass low, it mows approximately 0.1 acre of my yard and does fine when it actually mows. Installation was easy enough. Traction in the yard is fine, and it identifies areas where it gets stuck so you can remedy the issue at your convenience.

Don't buy their replacement blades
Mower works just fine but don't bother buying their replacement blades. $60 for 10 blades is unacceptable in my opinion. You can get 30 generic ones for $15 instead and works just as good.

Amazing Machine and Customer Service - App and signal was finicky for my area
I will say the mower itself is fantastic. It is worth trying. It climbs slopes like a champ! The little grooves on the back combs the grass as it mows. I found that really neat and unexpected.I did have some challenges with getting a signal. It seems that it depends on the time of day for it to get a clear signal or not. I'm assuming this is due to me not mounting this on my roof.I reached out to customer service because of this and they were amazing! Best customer service I've run into in awhile and you can tell they truly care about their customers and their product. They even offered to send someone out to help get me going! Who does that these days? The app/software is a bit of a challenge. However, once you set it up, it's done. :)The good:- Super quiet- Cool looking- Makes a nice lawn tracks- Eats slopes for breakfast- Navigates obstacles well.- Amazing Customer Service. The not-so-good:-Signal drops. I didn't mount it on the roof, so perhaps that is why? I live in an HOA, so this wasn't an option for me.-The setup isn't as intuitive as I hoped.- You have to move your sprinklers daily. Not a flaw in the product, just a fact I had not considered. I have new sod and have to water daily.Again, the machine itself is nice and worth trying. I ended up returning it because of the connection & issue before Amazon's return policy ran out. I will purchase again from this company in the future based on their amazing customer service and such a promising product. I will likely need to go for their wired one due to my location and HOA and I wouldn't hesitate based on how cool this machine is.

Works great so far
I've had this X7 robot lawn mower running for about a few weeks. My yard isn't huge. It just quietly does its job. I've watched it a few times, just wanting to see what it would do. it consistently works its way out of trouble on its own. The signal has been steady. Even near the back fence where GPS reception usually drops for other devices, this robot mower stays locked in and follows its route accurately. The app ahs also been smooth, quick to response, easy to tweak settings, and no random disconnections.Overall, the yard stays trimmed, and I'm not running outside every other day to fix something. That alone makes it worth it.

unable to navigate my yard
unable to navigate my grass. It gets stuck in the deep grass and reports a navigation failure. Unable to complete any mowing job in my yard. 0 degree elevation change. This is simply a grass is too deep for the machine to handle. It triggers the front bumper as an "obstacle" that it then needs to try and navigate around and the robot just wanders for an hour before it gives up completely and I need to pick it up and take it to the base station.I cut the grass extra low to over come this limitation and the robot still can not handle 2 days growth without erroring. For a $2500 investment, this is disappointing.

Clean Edges, No Stress
I’ve been using the Sunseeker X3 Plus for about a week now, and what surprised me the most is how clean the edges look. My yard is around 0.2 acre—not huge, but with several corners and walkways—and the X3 Plus gets impressively close to the borders. I still do a quick touch-up here and there, but far less than with my old mower.Navigation has been steady so far. Even under trees and near the fence line, it stays on track without random wandering. The app seems much smoother than some older reviews suggested—setup was simple, and when I didn’t understand a setting, customer support actually responded quickly and walked me through it.Overall, it keeps the lawn looking neat with minimal effort from me. For anyone wanting tidy edges and a mower that mostly takes care of itself, this one’s been a pleasant surprise.
