Haden Power Blender, 1.75 Liter Glass Jug, High Power 700W Motor, 5 Speed Settings, Pulse and Ice Crush Buttons, Stainless Steel, Putty/Chrome

So far so good. Had my first blender when I was married and the brand was Hamilton Beach. The color was out of style but it did a great job. I had made a cold remedy for my daughter and didn't drink all of it at one time. So I put the glass jug in the refrigerator with the remedy but I should have but it in a unbreakable container. The next time when she drank another dose after I told her just too put the glass jug back in the refrigerator. I had made about a jug full but she doesn't drink a lot of it for each doze. Well when she opened the refrigerator door again there was a loud crash. When I look it was the jug that had fallen out. She had put the jug too close too the edge of the glass shelf. Needless to say there was a big mess. I had too find another blender and the ones I wanted were so expensive so I settled for this one. I don't use a blender much so the price was great and it works great. Happy so far with my purchase.

Worked great for about 6 months! Then un-alived itself.When I first contacted customer service WELL AFTER their return 30-day policy (explaining that the spinning part just quit working) they instantly apologized and sent a replacement. Amazing, right? Just wait.THEN, not a few months later, the same part on the NEW replacement blender broke - and the motor just completely stopped. I reached back out again to customer support explaining that maybe they should recall this item as the same part isn't working and the motor has a short life. I also offered to send both blenders back to help them see the issue themselves to perhaps better their case on their end.Nope. Suddenly I'm not entitled to anything - now its a "35-day" return policy (even though that didn't apply before).Super sad because when it was alive, it worked great! Don't get too attached to it ... it will un-alive itself around 6months. RIP blender.

The "chrome" knob was so flimsy I was afraid it might break off before I was able to return this item. This is NOT chrome, but an extremely light grade plastic, not plastic you want in your appliances. The item states it has a stainless steel housing, but that is not true. Only the motor and blades are made of metal and everything else is plastic including the setting for the blade (see second to last website photo, which I did not notice) Literally it reminded me of those battery-operated "play kitchen" blenders for kids, except louder. In addition, note that it is not dishwasher safe, meaning that if you put it anywhere in the dishwasher it could melt- so good luck making soup! Finally, it looks oddly mismatched due to the glass container (high quality) on top of a light plastic base (low quality), like a nice stone set in an aluminum gumball ring. Obviously, the deception and low quality upset me, but I give this 2 stars because it turned on when plugged in.

Happy with the purchase. Bought it solely because of the jug being glass. Works well.

Used a few times it was great, up until the bottom cap came off while using it. I thought it may have been my fault for not having it tight enough. So I go to give it another try and it does the same thing, it also emits a burning smell. I didn’t listen to the reviews because I loved the color, do yourself a favor and get a better quality blender.

I bought this because it was one of the blenders recommended by Mamavision for food safety. I used it a few times and was finally getting the hang of holding onto the lid so the contents didn't shoot out of the top... until one day all of the contents started spilling out of the bottom and through the base/motor. The base becomes loose easily even if you check it everyday so this might a design flaw or defect. Also, I was afraid to use again after the contents spilled through the motor. I returned and bought the Braun PureMix Power Blender with Thermal Resistant Glass Jug - also approved by Mamavision.

I like that this blender has a glass jar and it's designed pretty much like the popular brands, but it's super loud and seems to take a long time to really get things smooth. There aren't a lot of options for speed, and I'm not thrilled with the dial to get from one to the other. It's easy enough to clean as it comes apart well - no worse than any other blender. It's a good size for smoothies. I wish I'd ordered the blue one, but the black is okay. Looks nice on the counter. Not sure it's really worth the price, though. You can get a Hamilton Beach and the quality that comes with that for half the price.
