Block ice melts much slower than cubed ice due to less surface area. The thick rubbery material stretches enough when extracting the block. I'm using these molds to extend the life of cubed ice that will fill the nooks and crannies of a packed cooler.

Purchased these to add more ice to my ice baths and these works great. The ice comes out without a problem. Good size to keep in my smaller side freezer without taking up to much space, but big enough that I don't have to add to much more ice to my ice bath. Great value

First, they are much less than 5 lbs (that cost the one star). 2 1/2 quarts and they are near full. Flexible enough to remove the ice from the mold right away. Yay! They distort and make bulged blocks, but its not a problem, just another result of flexing. PS. bottom of the freezer makes faster and colder ice.

Have used them several times now. I think they are durable and will hold up. The size is perfect for our uses. I would definitely recommend getting one.

These were ok the amount of ice they can make is great. They were a bit tough to clean at times because of the ridges but luckily it's just water. The mold did tear after a few uses overall good value for the money though if it's not a daily use kind of thing.

These work great for make veggie ice cubes for my piggy and chickens. I also use fruit and the ice releases so easily, highly recommend this product, I’ve used others and they don’t work this well. Thank you for a great product. Highly recommend.
