Classy, quality design, top manufacturing
This lamp looked great in the photos, it is even better standing on my desk. Heavy quality materials, elegant lines, modern and classy antique at the same time. It came triple boxed, all the elements are reassuringly heavy and feel solid right down to the finest detail. Even the pull-chain switch feels solid and its click is soft and reassuring. The light is warm and beautiful. I put a warm white 9W LED bulb in (E27 type) and there is plenty of light to read and write by, but the golden light of the Cognac shade is easy on the eyes and makes the room feel warm.The service is to the same highest standards, the lamp came triple-boxed with the outer box safely lined with some 10cm of padding, most of it recyclable.Definitely worth the price if you are spending nearly £300 on a desk, table or mantelpiece lamp - this one makes the room.

Lampe sieht ganz tol aus, eine schöne Ergänzung in meinem Studierzimmer, preiswerte Kauf, es kostet was aber dann hat man auch etwas sublimes.

Düster, düster.... aber wenn die Glühbirne an ist, ist sie entzückend
Oha, die Lampe wirkt auf dem Bild freundlicher, als sie ist. Sie ist sehr düster, meine Freundin will sie gar nicht sehen. Ick aber freu mir. Überlegt es euch aber vorher, ob ihr vielleicht nicht doch die Messingversion besser finden würdet. Die sieht freundlicher aus. Der orangene Schirm sieht unbeleuchtet recht unattraktiv, fast bräunlich aus. Beleuchtet scheint er aber in sehr schönen Bernsteinfarben. Auf dem Foto ist da grad die Glühbrine an. Ih wollte die brünierte Version haben, da mein Schreibtisch aus der Gründerzeit und schwarz ist. So wirkt sie auf dem Tisch eher unauffällig und wächst quasi aus der dunklen Tischplatte heraus. Schön, und deshalb hab ich sie gekauft, ist die Höhenvestellbarkeit. Wenn man mal wieder zu viele Bücher um sich gestapelt hat, hat man schnell Schatten auf dem Tisch, das ist nun vorbei, da ichdie Lampe höher als den Bücherturm stellen kann.
