This coffee is a true delight. I made this in my Ninja Drip machine and it makes a smooth, cup with a nice rich nutty flavor. A little sugar is nice but not necessary. My favorite way to enjoy this is to use the rich setting and it really brings out the depth of flavor. It boosts the strength and makes for a great latte. The packaging is very nice and feels special to unbox. The tin is a very nice touch and does a great job of keeping it fresh. The latch is very easy to work and open so any one with dexterity issues will be fine. I think this would be a great addition to a gift basket. All in all its a good value for a very solid, luxurious cup of coffee.

No surprise here that you're mostly paying for the fancy gift canister. It isn't nearly as full as shown in the listing images, and I'd consider the price to be pretty steep if you were just getting coffee. The coffee is just okay to me, but I'm not a coffee connoisseur. To me, different coffees tend to all just taste like coffee. I don't have the palette to tell them apart. But it wasn't exceptionally bitter, which is the one thing that will make me dislike a coffee. As long as you accept what you're buying is a very pretty coffee canister that happens to have coffee in it, this is a satisfactory product.

The box arrived opened, and the inner seal inside the coffee can was broken. I don’t feel comfortable drinking it in this condition. Very disappointed. What a waste.

The only reason for packaging and pricing like this is because you're giving it as a gift. But imagine the recipient's disappointment when they see the canister is far from full - and certainly not overflowing, like it is the listing images. I took my attached photos right after opening. Note the ruler both inside and out. VERY DISAPPOINTING. The canister itself has a cool vibe, but the clasp is flimsy and the lid doesn't seal firmly. The coffee inside has a nice, full aroma from the moment you open the box. Saying it is a medium roast with chocolate notes is fair. It's fine, smooth coffee, but a fancy-looking canister and century-old marketing vibe isn't worth over 40 bucks - especially when the container is far from full. One star for the vibe and one for drinkable coffee. Minus two stars for the price and advertising it as full, but only giving about 2/3. And minus the 3rd star for making a gifting canister that feels cheap, even if the design is attractive.

When I was looking a the listing of this coffee and its price I knew they were trying to grab people's attention with the packaging and presentation of the coffee. I didn't really have high hopes for the taste of the coffee itself. I've run into this before with other brands where they spend more money on marketing than the actual product. I'd say I was partly correct in my assessment. The presentation is really nice. The tin seems of good quality and I plan on reusing it for other coffees in the future. The design and clasp are top notch. Now, the coffee, which is the most important thing, was just alright. It was definitely not as bad as I was expecting, and I was able to brew a decent cup of coffee with it. It's not going to wow anyone by any means, but it's better than other coffees I've had in the recent past. The only problem is the price. I could maybe justify it as a gift to someone else, but for myself I'd rather save some money AND get a better coffee in the process by looking somewhere else.

The packaging of this coffee is beyond any that I've purchased. It's fancier and exudes quality. However, the most important part is the taste of the coffee and grind. There is a nice smokiness and touch of chocolate that goes down smoothly. I've tried it in an aeropress and moka pot and both are very pleasant. I can't say it's worth 3-4x the amount I normally pay for coffee for a 10-20% improvement over my basic Trader Joe's coffee. I'm a casual coffee enjoyer and could recommend it if you're looking to treat yourself though.

I received this ground coffee that has a hint of chocolate and I really enjoyed it. Normally I just stick to vanilla coffee creamer to flavor my coffee, but this lite chocolatey coffee has given me other flavor options. I honestly didn’t even need to use creamer, but I used a little bit and it was perfect. The smell is wonderful as well. Sometimes coffee can have an acidic taste, but this was smooth. One thing about the coffee is that its grounds are really small to the point that there was residue on the bottom of the coffee. No big deal just an fyi. I really liked this coffee and the resealable container that it came in. However, the cost of the coffee for the amount in the can is on the higher side, but with 100% Arabica beans, the price is understandable Would I recommend this product? Excluding the fact that it was only 3/4 full, I would recommend this.

I've been wanting to try a new coffee brand and this popped up. I liked the aroma of the coffee. It smelled even better after cooking it. I recommend using this for a morning pick-me up or if you're a baker, it may be good for treats. The taste was not too acidic or floral. Very straightforward coffee. The design was so pretty, too. Perfect for a hosting gift!
