they didn't bring the promised features yet.
I am using this AP for 3 floor house mounted on the ceiling of the first floor to get better coverage all around the house and coverage is not bad. Not beter than half priced TP link Wifi 6 AX5400 but similar. The reason I bought this AP is not the biggest coverage but promised feature set and it is a well known brand for a network devices for home and small business. Anyways, there are goods and not so goods. But the reason I gave 3 stars is they still didn't keep their promise yet.The Goods:- You can power this thing with POE+- Doesn't require the limit of the POE standard, which is good.- Has 2.5 gig uplink (this was the reason I didn't buy the Mikrotik CaP AX. It has 1G uplink Only.)- Easy to manage and configure.- Nearly works in any direction.- MFA for management. The NOT Goods:- Company still didn't deliver the promised MLO (Multi Link Operation) Feature yet.- Nearly all other Access Points the company made, received their updated and promised firmware, even the ones that announced after this one. But Not U7 Pro Max.- Runs Hot! not warm, it is hot. It is hot enough that you can not keep your hand on the back plate for more than couple of seconds. If you are using this with all the frequencies and utilization is in the middle.- You need a VM or install a server application to manage it properly. It is not resource hungry but it is something to keep in mind.- Still has stability issues. Random reset's can happen time to time.- Not faster than compared TP link Archer AX 5400 on transfer speeds. It is half of the money and can be managed directly from the device itself. And works cooler.- There is no options to turn the status light in certain amount of time during the day. You have to disable or enable it only.- 6ghz is only faster then the 5ghz when you are within the 6 meter radius and no walls or obstacles between the device and access point .
