This made an excellent starter gift and worked exactly as intended. The guided first match with numbered cards and step-by-step instructions does a surprisingly good job of teaching the rules without overwhelming new players with too much information at once. Having everything included in one box makes getting started very easy and removes a lot of the confusion that can come with jumping straight into booster packs and deck building. Once the introductory games are finished, players have enough understanding of the basics to start exploring the wider game with much more confidence. For children, families or adults wanting to learn the Pokémon Trading Card Game, this is one of the best entry points available and an easy recommendation.

This little kit is fantastic. It has decks suitable for entry level and beyond. My daughter who knew nothing of tcg managed to figure it out. A lot of fun and very easy to use. The only complaint I have is that I wish it came with some sleeves for the deck as it is hard to shuffle the deck without

This was recommended to me for someone who wants to get into the Pokemon card game, rather than just trading the cards. the instructions and deck walk through are great for this, and it opens up the wider game playing for the kids. We still use the board to get the layout correct but have graduated from the training pack to the full sets provided. Comes with plenty of cards so is good value.

As you can see in the photos, the description of the product is misleading where it says “english”. There is one piece missing (10 points damage counter) and the instructions are all in polish! Very disappointed!

Bought this for my 7 year old. Really good product overall but one of the cards was in Spanish, was a birthday present so don't want to return the whole thing, can't find any option to replace a part of it, tried with the pokemon support website but apparently it's tournament legal so it's not a problem they'll do anything about. If it wasn't for that it'd be five stars.

ideal um in das TCG einzusteigen sehr gute Anleitung für die ersten Schritte drei ausgeglichene Decks Sorgen immer wieder für tolle Duelle Spielunterlage und Zubehör sind auch im Nachgang verwendbar, selbst wenn komplett neue Decks benutzt werden. Also Pokemonfan kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen, mit diesem Set ins Spiel einzusteigen
