VIRGILS SODA ROOT BEER, 16.8 FO

This soda has taught me how to ration and stretch out each bottle for maximum enjoyment. If it weren't for the price I would have gulped down a dozen of these a day.

The taste wasn't the same, had some issues with product being sent, not totally the manufacturer's fault, but it was enjoyable never the less.

This is I guess how rootbeer tasted a long time ago. It’s powerful but not to the point of being medicinal but teaters right on the edge. It’s pricey but if you intend to reuse the bottles it becomes a bargain. There is the taste of licorice that lingers in the background but it’s not cloyingly sweet. I am not a big licorice fan but Virgil’s has convinced me that it belongs in rootbeer. It’s hard to taste the nutmeg because there is so much going on. The packaging is excellent and everything arrived in perfect condition. I am in love with this stuff

This is way sub-par to their original. It lacked the creamy texture of the original, and also was missing the unique taste.A fancy bottle doesn't make it taste better, it just makes it more expensive. Stick to the original.

Husband LOVED THESE ROOTBEERS. I had to ration them out so they'd last more than two or three days. They are expensive, but as a special Christmas time treat, I think the price isn't too bad for the quality and taste of the root beer. Virgil's makes a great drink, and I think their Bavarian root beer is top of the line.

I dislike root beer, that being said if you enjoy root beer that you could find “in the good ol days” this is it! It’s not overwhelming and fantastic we will definitely be buying again

After taste is like cough syrup.

This is the real thing! Delicious! They pack this stuff for shipping such that even my local heroes can't break the glass bottles before I get to enjoy the contents. This is the brewed beverage, not the artificially flavored fake from the grocery store, or the local restaurant.
