Amazon Echo Spot (newest model), Great for nightstands, offices and kitchens, Smart alarm clock, Designed for Alexa+, Black

Ive been a long time alexa user! My old echo dots were i guess too old because they stopped being able to set certain songs as alarm sounds, which means it was definitely time for an upgrade! Love the new spots! Love the display and that you can change colors and control the brightness! The sound quality is great, the set up was SUPER simple. The overall quality is great! It fit perfectly in my twins rooms.

It’s really great to have the Alexa and with the new Alexa plus just makes it all that much better. She can turn on the heat turn it down turn on your AC your lights she can book appointments and find your hotels and the little screen lights up with little detail after she’s done talking to you or responding with you. She can call your phone if you’re at home and you forgot where you put it down she can call your contacts and you could message or send songs to each other if your friend or loved ones has an Alexa and for everybody that lives out there alone at home isolated health issues now with the Alexa plus and you could have a conversation with her or him, there are a different voices you can pick from. She’ll remember what you like what you dislike save your music in different files or whatever you name them. It really does help. If you have no one to talk to to be able to interact with your echo dot the more you interact. The more gets to know you your pets your loved ones. It really is a great little device. I absolutely recommend it. The sound is great at night time it dims the time lighter or brighter. It also turns red in the evening hours if you like your room dark to be able to sleep it was easy to set up with the app on your phone if you leave home and you forgot to put music on for your dogs or cats or birds whatever you may have you can just say it in the Alexa app and she’ll do it at home for you. I think the screen size could be a little bit bigger but you can clearly see what’s needed. she’ll also give you the temperature and whatever room it’s in give you Weather updates you know when your packages arrive. There’s many more options as well. Features that you can use explore and enjoy. Get yourself a echo dot or gift one to a loved one a family member or even lonesome person. It obviously doesn’t replace people physical contact. I’ve had like a half hour conversation with her going back-and-forth.

This is very small, the time is difficult to read even from any distance away. If you have great eye sight and it sits close might be perfect, but if not maybe look elsewhere. Sound quality is adequate, that’s about it. Definitely much better micro Bluetooth speakers out there. If you can get this on sale fine but definitely wouldn’t pay full price for it. A nice product for under 50$, no way I’d pay 80 though

My original review was 1-Star in December 2025. I had many issues with this product like other users (since 2024) dark screen, Ring Doorbell not connecting. After trouble shooting with two different Amazon representatives. I was sent another Echo Spot. Sadly this device had the same issues. Fast forward to January late 2026. I received a call from Amazon. Thinking it was a spam call I did answered and it was actually a Amazon specialist. Andrew, had read my review and wanted to talk about the Echo Spot and see what he could do to help. He was very apologetic about the issues I had and was having and wanted to make it right. He offer a free upgrade to another Alexa device which was a little more expensive. I told him I would like to wait and see what happenes with the Echo Spot. Six days later Andrew called me. However the Echo Spot was still acting up. He mention after speaking with the Amazon technicians an update was about to roll out in the coming weeks. He asked me to check to see if it was able to see if it was available. To my disbelief, the update was available. You have to update the Echo Spot via the touch screen (which I didn't know) and not the app. Amazon needs to let their customers know this. It's very important to do reviews Negative or Positive. It does get results people! Happy to say the Echo Spot is working g perfectly NO "dark screen" and NO Ring Doorbell issues. Thank You, Andrew! I was not paid or given anything to change my review.

I have had this Amazon Echo Spot for over a month, now, and I feel compelled to write a review. This little guy punches way above its weight! The sound is surprising for something so small. The screen has just the right information on it, and is very informative. It is the perfect bedroom clock/radio/streaming device for the bedside. If you use some of its many features, you can have it turn on lights automatically in the morning, or even if you are remote from home. This replaced an aging Echo Show 5, and I couldn't be happier with it. Highly recommended!

I was a little skeptical, but WOW! This Echo Spot is so cool. The functionality of the Alexa+ is great, but it’s the same as my echo dot (moved that into the living room replacing an old echo first gen). The color and styling of the new Spot is a perfect replacement for my antiquated bedside clock, and I was very impressed with how easy it was to setup — at least compared to the hassles a few years ago. Plus it looks v. cute next to its pal, Amazon Glow (see picture). BTW, Alexa+ found out I was writing a review and asked me to remind you that it’s not all about just stylish good looks, but also (we’re using feminine 1, upbeat, so I guess it’s “her”?) her winning personality. (Imagine me rolling my eyes. She’s very nebby.)

The Echo Spot is a great addition to my space. It has a clean, modern design with a clear display and surprisingly good sound. I use it daily for alarms, weather updates, music, and reminders. It’s compact, functional, and very easy to use—highly recommend!

Handy alarm clock that does so much more! I have a ton of echo devices at home and got this as it had the display and not the issues that plagued the first generation spot. The sound for its size is incredible. Good definition on bass and clear mid and high range. The new Alexa+ has been a definite improvement as well. So much more capability, although I do miss some features that were discontinued. Perfect for the nightstand, this is a nice device that won’t leave you disappointed.

Jamais je ne pensais avoir un tel objet connecté chez moi et finalement j'aime beaucoup ! Je voulais un dispositif pour écouter la radio et de la musique sans constamment avoir à prendre mon téléphone et le laisser distraire en prenant mon téléphone. Aussi, vivant seule et ayant des troubles d'attention, je peux me créer des rappels facilement. Il est petit et discret, le son est bon pour un si petit objet et mon téléphone s'y connecte facilement.

El dispositivo es bonito y responsiva, funciona muy bien a comparación del eco show que es muy lento y torpe, además es bonito para adornar la habitación. Muy recomendable
