How did I live without the Tchibo?
This is my 3rd full auto coffee maker, and I have enjoyed all of them. I have had a Saeco and a Phillips, but my favorite is definitely my new Tchibo! I wanted a machine that would not only make a great espresso shot, but also a delicious cup of coffee. The Tchibo has settings for 6 and 8 ounce coffees ( which you can customize to different sizes), and I found that the 6 ounce size makes the best tasting cup of coffee I've ever had out of a machine ( which includes not just the Saeco and Phillips, but also K Cup and Nespresso machines). The espresso shots are fantastic, too. There is just no substitute for freshly ground beans. It is a beautifully designed German machine. Compact, simple to use, and comes in nice colors- I got the red (which is actually more of a burgundy color). The Tchibo coffee that came with the machine was also delicious, and I just ordered 4.5 pounds of Tchibo Espresso beans to try-can't wait! All for under 500 bucks- its a great deal.

Flavor overload ❣️
I have been using a ninja coffee maker for years, I found this Tchibo expresso coffee maker that left the ninja in the dust. This is like a cup of coffee from a barista in a specialty coffee shoppe. I love a bold cup of coffee and this delivers every time. Each cup has fresh grounded beans and has the froth on the top. Highly recommend.

Replaced with another Tchibo
Got the new machine lasted a few coffees and got the dreaded “Clean Coffee Grinds” indicator. Everything was clean. Power cycled and stuck on this issue. Accidentally I pulled the coffee tray and let it sit out. Noticed the indicator started to flash now so I inserted the coffee tray back in and Voila back to making coffee. FYI All. Not in the manual and is mentioned in QnA however was not clear. Great coffee.

Make me addictive to coffee
Enjoying so far, the last 6 months, can't beat this with price and quality. Still thinking of Jura, but this is one of the most affordable options in terms of quality.

Loved the idea but not a REAL espresso machine
Coffee and weak espresso lovers will thoroughly enjoy this machine, it will definitely save you money in the long run from coffee shops or pods. With that being said if you are a true diehard strong espresso lover, this does not meet expectations. If I wanted just a strong cup of black coffee I would keep it but even doing the boost still doesn’t give it the same bold espresso taste that I'm looking for. I wanted a no frills fully automatic REAL espresso machine with grinder that I wouldn’t need to tamp but this unfortunately doesn’t meet the same standards as a Nespresso, there are no bars of pressure. I generally enjoy my espresso shaken with ice and a dash of creamer and it unfortunately this tastes like extremely watered down iced coffee. I even let it sit for a while to cool off before adding to ice and that didn’t help either. Another thing to note is if you like it really really strong like me, you cannot use espresso beans or any super dark oily/sugary beans as you will ruin the machine. I tested with Peet’s Major Dickason’s blend as another reviewer suggested for Nespresso drinkers, I also put the grind on finest it could go and I did the boost button for “espresso”. I wanted so badly to love the machine but it is just a bean to brew coffee machine NOT espresso, I don’t understand why they advertise it as espresso when you cannot use espresso beans. I do want to say anyone interested in the red color, it’s gorgeous, it’s a beautiful wine color with a little bit of purple hue. If you are buying for strictly coffee buy this machine but do not buy this if you are trying to get a true strong espresso, it will be a let down. I just wanted to get away from the pods completely but I’ll be going back to my Nespresso machine.

Delicious coffee
The quality of the coffee is far better than any of the pod-based coffee maker - the convenience and the speed like those pod-based without any of the plastic waste. The clean-up is also a breeze. It is not a light machine but that's a good feature as an indicator of quality in such an amazingly compact machine.
