LOVE THIS CART - EVEN GETS COMPLIMENTS
I have struggled for years with a cart that did not have swivel front wheels. Every time you have to turn it is brute strength to deal with it - especially with heavy loads. Now that so many people bring bottled water home - this is VERY important! If you are looking for a new cart -this is the one! The door can easily come open -that is true -but I just put a padlock on it & problem solved. Other than that it is WONDERFUL and not difficult to put together if you follow the directions (also bend the pin wire that holds the back wheels - so the pin can not come out from the wheel).

very sturdy cart. but if you dont need somthing heavy duty, save some $$ and get a cheaper one
i have my own medical delivery service. and I use this cart to move air tanks. works 10 times better than a dolly and i can push this oppose to "pulling" a dolly (less wear and tear on the body) . Especially when Im in one of those HUGE retirement facilities. I do usually have to replace the cart every 3 months or so. But that is because i am NOT easy on it and this cart can take a beating!i can usually get 12 tanks in this cart and thats at 11lbs a piece . thats 132lbs easy this thing can handle. it has the front door if needed and strong wheels both front and back. The front wheels pivot, this is crucial for me. alot of the cheaper baskets front wheels dont pivot. only 2 things stopping me from giving it 5 stars1; although the frame is super strong and can take a beating. the side rails arent that strong. after a couple days of me banging on it they tend to fall off. but it is the only "weak" part to this cart. as you can see from the pix. i can still use it for months after this by just using some cardboard or smaller crate i insert inside to keep my tanks from falling out the side2; the price. 99$ is pretty steep IMO. so thats why i stated UNLESS you REALLY need a heavy duty basket. just by a cheap one. you dont need a heavy duty pasket for groceries. if this cart was around 70$ or so Id be happier. But the prodcuts works and i know most of you arent being so rough as I am with mine so i'm sure yours will last much longer than mine!

A wire came off the side.
Two weeks after I sent a message reporting cart wire falling off the first time I put something in, the manufacturer has not responded. I asked if I could fix it.The door in the cart is very helpful for removing a flat of water and the heavier bags. I like the cart. I wish they would respond.

The door keeps popping open but can be fixed.
I bought this cart because I have a family of 3 and needed a cart that wasn't going to conk out on me like the others did from too much weight. so I opted for the utility cart. I have used this cart 3 times so far, filling it to the brim with grocery's, and i'm going to give a review. When I put my groceries in the cart including 2 cases of 16oz 24 ct of water along with a gallon of milk and other heavy groceries... the cart didn't bounce with fragility, it was rather proving it can with stand the pressure. The wheels ran over obstacles like butter. I can push the cart with ease/using one hand. The walk home while pushing the cart over cracked concrete and in bedded train tracks going up hill and down, I had no worries where I felt the cart would give way. I was very pleased and all this deserves 4 stars, one star was taken away from the con listed below.CONS:This cart is suppose to hold 300 pounds and does just that. What i'm confused about is why put a swinging door on the front of the cart? The pressure of the groceries leaning up against all four sides forces the door to pop open. I made sure that the door was securely and properly put in place but it kept popping open. I had to take one of the plastic grocery bags and knot the door closed for the rest of the walk home. What i'm going to have to do for future purposes is permanently tie the door closed with plastic Cable Ties, i'll get clear colored ones so it won't be obvious eye sore.If you are in my situation and need a sturdy cart that can take a lot of weight, you will be saving your money not doing trial and error with buying the less expensive carts. You will for sure end up buying the utility 300 pound capacity cart.

Amazing
I have been using this cart for well over year now. I wanted something to help me because my parking was very far from my home. I was hesitant because I have to walk over grass and gravel, but anything to make it so I didn't have to take multiple trips to my car for groceries is worth it. I am very impressed with this lil guy. I still remember pulling it out of the box and being a little worried.... It doesn't look that sturdy... It looked like just any other cart. I assumed the wheels wouldn't be able to handle the terrain and weight. Well I was wrong, and I am very happy with just how wrong I was. This cart has no issues with the weight of groceries, packs of...drinks for social events included. This cart is incredibly sturdy. It has no issues with any terrain so far. This cart is smooth.... I don't feel any of the weight. I never have to fight this cart. It is effortless hauling things around with this cart. It folds up nicely and fits in my car. I am overall just very impressed. I am very glad I got this cart; thank you for this product.

Nicely sized but flimsy sides and overall quality make it overpriced, and a 2 week wait
On the plus side, I like the handle height for using on stairways--I don't have to bend over as far. Also the floor of the cart is mesh instead of wire grid, but this plus is offset by the flimsy and wide spaced wire sides which still allow items to fall out the sides. The wheels seem to move well but the wheel assembly instructions, #2, doesn't mention orientation of wheel. Only after I had them on, wrong, did I see a note on the other side of the page mentioning this. It should have been mentioned in Step #2. The front door looks helpful for large items but again, seems very flimsy. The door opened on its own with only unfolded linens from the dryer. Given that IMO the cart is 20% overpriced and I had to wait 15 days for it to arrive, it is an average product experience at best. See photo or size compared to their next lower in class.

Was so glad I got this. Not so sure now.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this at the end of December 2020. I was so grateful to have it but there is a HUGE issue that Whitmor needs to address.First of all, it's sturdy. It's strong. The sides aren't going to pop off or out like other bundle buggies, because this buggy is made differently from cheaper ones. The metal mesh bottom is fabulous. Not only is it great for putting smaller items on, but the mesh bottom makes it stronger, meaning you can carry heavier things in it without the bottom bowing out or the axles bending. Plus, in these days of long lineups, when waiting and my legs get tired, I'm able to pull open the front door and sit in it. Not everyone could do this, but I'm small. The front door is great, too. Sometimes I'm carrying heavy stuff in there, and having to lift it out would be too much for my back. I can pull open the door and slide it out, forwards. The door WILL pop open by itself if you don't find a way to secure it. At first I used one of the sturdy twist ties that came with the packaging. Then I got a bit of hook-and-loop faster (for holding computer cords) and used that instead. Quite satisfactory, I only need the one piece to keep it closed. I used a black piece and it looks just fine. You can’t even notice it.It is BIG. I can make fewer trips with this than I'd need to with my old buggy. The handle is strong and the foam sleeve over it is secure and comfortable to grip.It folds up flat, and to store it I fold it up, turn it upside down, and lean it against a wall. The greatest thing about this buggy are the swivel wheels on the front. I can maneuver this thing around easily instead of having to lift up the front wheels to change direction. I can rotate it a full 360° while it sits in the same spot.My only complaint is regarding the small front wheels. This us a HUGE issue. As other people have noted, they are too small and will catch in gaps in the pavement. I am much more careful now that I've had that happen, but even when being careful, sometimes, especially at night, one can't see those gaps. Last night I fell over it as it toppled forward, and injured my shins. Now I'm a little old lady with two bruised shins, a hairline fracture, and a limp.If I could change anything about the buggy, I'd have two wishes:1. I would like to see the handle improved in one way – since I am small (5' tall), it is a it too high for me. My arms get tired if I have to wheel the buggy for too long because the handle is above elbow height. On longer trips I have to stop several times and rest my arms. If the handle angle could be adjustable, it would be easier on my arms.2. The little FRONT WHEELS. They really are TOO SMALL. Their maneuverability is wonderful but they need to be an inch bigger, at the very least. Right now the 4" wheel catches in pavement gaps too easily, and if you don't see such a gap coming, it's a real HAZARD.Overall, this is so good to have. I hope it lasts forever. I just wish Whitmor would redesign the thing so the front wheels were much bigger. I have been quite badly injured because of them and at my age I'm not going to heal as quickly as someone 30 years younger. Of course I was being cautious but if visibility is poor, the only way to avoid that catch and tip is to not use the front wheels at all, which negates the whole purpose of buying the cart in the first place. Because of that the cart gets three stars instead of the initial five I was going to give it.

Sturdy, but expensive cart
I bought this cart as I was looking for a strong, sturdy method of carrying/walking my groceries home. Having used it for several weeks, I am certainly pleased with the results. For anyone wondering, the cart arrives in a large, rectangular box. Inside is the frame, the axle, wheels, along with the screws and washers. The instructions claim assembly takes less than 30 minutes and it is indeed so. It took me about 15 min and I didn't need any additional tools.Regarding the cart itself, the entire frame feels very sturdy. It folds easily enough and there's a little piece to lock it in "folded" mode. The handle bar is surrounded by foam which makes holding it for longer strolls easier. The front door on the cart doesn't really have a "lock" but rather it latches in place like a hook. This isn't really a big deal, so long as gravity keeps the front door in place.Regarding durability, I personally haven't carried anything more than 60 lbs or so, and it was just groceries, so I can't make a comment on the maximum weight this thing can carry. But for what I carried, it did the job nicely. I don't see any wear and tear at all with regards to the frame. The wheels however, had a little wear to them. All in all, I don't regret my purchase. The cart serves its purpose well. I can only give this cart 4 stars however as it is indeed, a little expensive, and time will tell how long the wheels hold up. So if you're looking for a sturdy cart to carry groceries or other heavy objects with and you need something bigger than the ever popular, but small 2 wheeled carts that everyone seems to be using, I would certainly recommend this cart.

An Expensive Well Made Shopping Cart
I've had a number of shopping carts over the years, all rather poorly made. This one is different, it's well made.- Sturdy and oversized, it should last for many, many years.- The front and back wheels use ball bearings, the lesser used front wheel swivels use sleeve bearings. This is great.- The front wheels turn easily making navigation a breeze.- The instructions are much better than for most consumer items except for not identifying that the large back wheels have an inside and outside orientation until AFTER you have installed them both. Be careful of that.Overall, an overpriced but high-end cart that should please.

Very good quality, not very heavy.
Recommend adding/ using it with GEAR TIE RUBBER TWISTS for front door and also to open and close it's easier and safer to handle and install in the car. Other than that I am very happy, buying another one for my mom. (she does not need to use her cane any more!, this one does the job as well because it's very stable)

Best cart for condo living
I use this cart every week moving groceries from underground parking to my condo. This cart is spacious and very sturdy. The best feature is the swivel wheel that most other carts don't have, they make it so easy to maneuver when turning. I always struggled with my previous cart. No more! The next best thing is the front door. When I put large and heavy items in, such as bottled water, it opens and makes it so much easier.I would highly recommend this cart. The money is well worth it!
