I used to think that vacuuming daily was enough until I used this directly afterwards on my carpets and rugs. The difference was honestly shocking. I help clean my grandparents church for them and it is a bit much haul around. It can be also be a little tricky to store. So the bag would be a great addition for me at some point. But despite the bag, it is still worth the extra effort. I can’t imagine not refreshing my rugs and carpets a few times a month now. I love this steamer and would absolutely recommend it, especially for deep cleaning. It cleans so many things well: stove, sinks, bathrooms, window tracks, screens, shoes, oven interiors, pet items, car mats, and all kinds of other random things around the house. It is especially great on window screens, and it makes white soles on shoes look white again. That said, this is not something I casually pull out for a tiny daily task. It is a whole thing. I tend to do a “steamer day” every couple of weeks and drag it around the house from job to job. You will want a lot of cloths ready because the process is basically steam, wipe, repeat. A few favorite details: I love that you can fill it while it’s still hot, the integrated funnel is helpful, and the bonnet attachment is my favorite. I wish I had a bunch of those (If you can buy extra do so). The attachments are useful, although the little brush heads do get misshapen pretty quickly if you use them hard, so plan to replace those here and there. My only real complaint is the cord wrap on the bottom. I cannot understand that design choice. It makes no sense to me. I also bought the storage bag and I’m torn on it. It does hold everything, but it’s big and boxy, and once everything is packed away it feels like more of a chore to get it back out. Overall, this is an excellent deep cleaning tool. I haven’t had amazing results on upholstery, but for windows, screens, tracks, kitchens, bathrooms (showers!), pet stuff, tile grout, and general deep cleaning, it’s worth it. I just wish it were somehow built into my house with a retractable hose in every room. One thing to note - the handle where you hold your wand or attachment does get very hot after extended use. Part way into my steamer day I end up wrapping a rag around it or using an oven mit.

Bought this steamer to replace an old McCulloch MC1275 that quit working after about ten years of reliable service. The variety/type of attachments are similar, but the Neat+ is more compact, lighter, and heats up much faster. They both seemed to use the same amount of distilled water, but the Neat+ can be filled while on and filled faster. The old unit had a copper threaded cap that took a while to unscrew/screw and the nozzle holder would get in the way of my hand. However, the nozzle holder was a nice feature and I could wrap the electrical cord around my elbow and loop it over the holder. The Neat+ minimalist design is sleeker, but it doesn't have a nozzle holder and the electrical cord gets wound up underneath the unit, which is kind of a pain. The trigger lock is easier to engage, but the handle could use gripping instead of being smooth, but this isn't a big deal. The floor pad is similar in material, but it's about 2" narrower than the old steamer's. While it pivots left/right, it doesn't pivot up/down like the McCulloch, which is mainly why I didn't give it five stars. I use it to clean the tiled walls in a shower enclosure, but since the Neat+ floor pad head doesn't pivot up/down, it's harder to maintain firm contact with the walls when attacking them at an angle. Customer service recommended using the triangular brush, but due to its smaller size, it'd take too long to complete the job. In closing, it's a solid unit and since it heats up much faster and puts out more steam, I'm glad that I switched to it. If the floor pad head could pivot up/down and a better mechanism for holding the electrical cord/hose was incorporated than it'd get five stars.

I love this machine....it makes me want to look for things to clean! It is perfect for my home and the possibilities of what it can clean are endless. It did an extremely impressive job on my kitchen grout and I was able to do the whole project standing up. Great machine, great price point! Highly recommend!

Yep this is the one. Tried 3 different streamers. The others sucked. This one is the one you're looking for. Has a few flaws like not being able to see water level and that hose is not detachable but that is easily overlooked when you get this level of performance out of a noncommercial machine.

Oh steam cleaner, how do I love thee? Recently moved into a new rental and between deep cleaning the previous place on move out and cleaning the new place on move-in, this thing has definitely earned its keep. I love it so much I gave it as a Christmas present to my parents. Easy to use, easy to clean up, and it works so so well. Other than the window cleaner attachment. Yeah, not so much. But getting grime out of grout, cleaning a greasy stove. Cleaning up moldy spots on the shower, and deep cleaning toilets you will be shocked at what this thing is capable of. Even in your sinks, the flange between the sink bottom and the drain, nothing else gets in there the way this thing does. 5 stars all the way.

I purchased this after a friend recommended it to me because of the ease of use. It worked great and I actually enjoyed cleaning my tile floors and the floors looked and felt clean after using the steam cleaner. I used it three times and during the third use it stopped working. I was very disappointed and contacted the company (I didn’t purchase product protection when I ordered and regret that decision ). The customer service is lacking, slow to respond (which is why I have given one star) and my issue has still not been resolved. Buyer beware and if you do purchase this get the extra product protection in case something happens right after the return window closes.
