Works well and easy to use but make sure not to apply this rat spray on any painted surface of the car as it leaves marks which do not go easily

I tried the 3M Rodent Repellent Coating mainly for car wiring protection. The application is straightforward. the spray spreads evenly and dries into a thin, clear layer without leaving sticky residue. It’s designed to discourage rats from chewing cables, and in my experience it did reduce gnawing marks for a couple of months. The 250g pack is enough for multiple applications on a bike or small car engine bay. However, it’s not foolproof. In areas with heavy rodent activity, I still noticed occasional damage, meaning reapplication is needed more often than expected. The smell is strong during application, so it’s best to use in a ventilated space. Also, it’s a preventive measure, not a cure. you’ll still need to keep the area clean and free of food sources. Pros: • Easy spray application; dries clear • Helps protect wires; reduces gnawing • Compact 250g pack; sufficient for small vehicles Cons: • Not 100% effective in heavy infestations • Needs reapplication for lasting effect • Strong odor during use; requires ventilation Bottom line: A useful extra layer of protection for car and bike wiring, but best combined with other rodent-control measures for reliable results.

DO NOT BUY. Before I used this spray, rats used to get in my car but they did not bite the wires or the rubber pipe connecting the wiper fluid. Once I applied the spray, the rats made a mess. They bit off the wiring of the rear parking sensors, rear brake lights and the rubber pipes moving water. Other wires were also damaged and I still don't know what the imapct of those bitten wires will be. It's a huge list. When there are only a few names in the market that we hear of and even their products are not trustworthy god bless us.

It’s convenient to apply and doesn’t take much time. After using it regularly, I feel more confident about protecting the car from rat damage. Overall, a useful and affordable product for car owners. Recommended, especially if you frequently park your car in areas where rats are common.
