Haven't been curling my toes or stumbling
For me, it has turned out to be an excellent solution. at first I positioned the foot device in a way that was cutting into my foot and felt like I was walking with a stone in my shoe. Then, I readjusted it. The little elevation the pad provides is just enough that I do not catch my curled toes on my drop foot on the ground or floor. For me, this has made a big difference. Be aware, you might not be able to get your foot with the device on it in every shoe but I mostly wear sneakers and it's fine.

Ankle support plus foot drop
{update}. I am updating my review to include that I have found the perfect way to use it for foot drop, as advised by a friend who worked with her professional. It has really helped me and Iโm glad this product is available! The advice is to wear it during sleep. It had massive improvement on my foot and leg after sleeping with it on (the next morning I could walk around, normally without anything, but fatigued by the late afternoon, and needed to use it again ). and itโs comfortable unlike some of the other products that were bulky and awkward. Walking around with it still has the same sense of prominently an ankle support system, with a little bit of lift on the foot. But the biggest impact is sleeping with it. Thanksgiving you! September: I like the idea this might help with a foot drop. Itโs a very slight lift of the foot so Iโm gonna have to re-strap and see if it lifts a little better. Otherwise itโs a great product to give better ankle support, which can help. You do want to strengthen the muscles by using them without a device. So thatโs why Iโm OK with keeping this because I wear it half a day and then I remove it to use my muscles.

It seems to do what it claims to do.
Worth noting, I'm very early in my use of this product, like an hour into day one early. I was diagnosed with MS several years ago and in the past few years have had some progression of weakness in my left leg. Included with that is some dorsiflexion issues (partially exhibited as some foot drop) as well as some weakness or what I'd call "sloppiness" of my knee and ankle. I was looking for a product that would assist me with the dorsiflexion issue (with and without shoes) and one that might offer some stability of the ankle joint. In my research, this seemed like a product that could help with both of those things. My first impression was "wow, I overpaid for this thing" based upon what was in the bag (and I still feel a little bit that way but time will tell if this assists and holds up over time). I didn't have any issues getting this onto my foot; the directions were sufficient. I found that forcing my ankle into dorsiflexion allowed the brace to work best in keeping my toes pointed upward. The device is comfortable and works both with and without shoes. I'm not sure this is the case with other devices, as this is my first, I am finding that not only does it keep my ankle flexed, it also has a favorable affect throughout the length of my leg (I seem less prone to over-extension of my knee and think it helps to make the muscles in my upper leg participate. It could be mindfulness alone but I suspect the former). As for stability, I think this does offer some (it compensates for some of the sloppiness/laziness of my ankle). It does not compare to what an athletic-style lace-up brace would do to prevent an ankle roll, but I don't believe that is the intent of this device. The materials seem of good quality, the loop and hook (Velcro) seems to be quite strong as that is needed for this particular device. Even with that said, the price point does seem a bit high (considering it is made in China, not in the US or EU) which may dissuade some people from acquiring this over another device. So with all of that stated, I've given it an overall rating of four stars and as I stated before, time will tell.

At the risk of sounding like my tween, "It's ok."
It is mildly effective for my mother, who has 2/5 tibialis anterior strength. She can move through Dorsiflexion in a gravity neutral position (sidelying). However, when ambulating with this brace, she is still having toe drop and "scuffing" the floor or absent toe clearance. However, I can see this working for someone with a little greater neuromuscular control of their tibialis anterior (the muscle which pulls your foot toward your head). So, no this does not provide as much dorsiflexion support as a rigid AFO, but it does provide support and a small amount of dorsiflexion assist. It is comfortable.

Did nothing for drop foot at all
I suffered from a stroke affecting the left side of my body. I thought this and foam wrap would be better to sit in the shoes. It is not made for women with smaller structure and feet Iโm a size 8 in ladies shoes. My husband trying to put it on as tight as he could and itโs still not to keep my foot up Enough for me to not skid the toe of my shoes. And then had my physical therapist put it on me thinking my husband did it wrong and he too said yeah this isnโt gonna work. Itโs too big for my ankle wraps around several times and never stays up even with the silicone nonslip on the inside of the angle wrap. The Velcro straps were not strong enough to hold my foot up no matter how hard I stretch them to the fullest mass to attach to the ankle frame. The ankle brace part of the product kept slipping down my foot which then would not hold support for the drop foot. Itโs a shame they donโt come in sizes small medium and large because one size does not fit all. We will be returning this product immediately.

Get them!
I purchased these a couple years ago and they completely changed how I walk. I have CMT(charcot Marie tooth) an inherited leg condition in which it affects my ankles and feet mostly. Without these I have to watch what I'm walking on at all times or I will trip over the smallest thing, due to the foot drop. I feel more confident walking with these on. They will fit in a shoe if you size up. I'm a 6 and bought a 6.5 and they barely fit. I have the AFOs but can't walk in them, they are so uncomfortable. I will do anything to stay out of those. But these supports are a game changer! Highly recommend!!

I LIKE IT!
Finally something simple that I can sleep in that allows me to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I wear a slipper sock over it. There's just a bit of minor discomfort on the back of the lower leg. It not enough to knock off a star. The minor discomfort is due to some rubber ridges that keep it from sliding down. It's necessary to pull your toes or forefoot up before attaching the velcro straps for best results. That can be done by putting gently on both straps that go towards the ball of the foot. If I manage to wear it out, I'll buy again. Also it will fit in a loosely laced shoe.

Works!
I had an ankle injury and the muscle that was torn was being aggravated by my foot falling forward when I walked and not so much if I bend my foot backwards so this is amazing I donโt have dropfoot but this is helping me for my torn foot muscle fits perfect seems to be upside down but I could be wrong. I donโt understand why the name is under my foot and not on the opposite side of my foot towards the ground. The only way you can see the company symbols by taking it off. I feel the padding should have been put on the inwards but if you do that the Velcro will not stick to that side. Unlike the boot I had I could not put on my shoes and socks but with this I can.

Awesome for foot drop
I developed foot drop after a spine injury. Started off with the hard plastic splint which was very painful on the legs. Then came across this product. Was bit sceptical if this would work as it as very soft but to my surprise this is fantastic. The feel is very soft but the holding of ankle is very good. Fit very well inside the shoe due to the open heel design (which is a disadvantage with the hard splints).
