Tiny pen
Pens don’t work well on the books. The part that gets wet to change colors is tiny so you have to be really precise with the coloring to actually make the picture appear. This is better suited for 7+

Needs a better “pen”
“Pen” sucks. I got a bluey one from Amazon and the pens were great. This, not so much. So we use the bluey pen with these books if we use them

Water brushes are useless !
The brush tips are very very tiny..only about an 1/8 inch.It would take you all day to water paint that little page ! My toddler became so disinterested almost immediately because of the brushes! I will not buy again.
