Q: Is the size of this boot uk sizing or us sizing? i'm looking for europe size 39 or us size 9 for these boots.

Size 8 is a 39. I had to re order and size down to a size 7, which is a 38. I typically wear a 7.5.

Q: Would you recommend these boots for cold/wet weather?

Idk they are water resistant but not water proof. Also not insulated. I wear them for work and my feet stay dry but may not be best for winter boots

Q: What is the shaft height from the top edge of the rubber sole to the top of the boot at the ankle opening? How many inches is that?

It is an inch past your ankle bone.
