UnderSun is Fantastic!
I've done resistance training in the past with tubing and handles. While I think they're an extremely good mode of working out, I found the clips, handles, etc, fairly clumsy and "fiddly" when trying to just move through a fluid, effective, and efficient workout. Also, using handles make it hard to avoid a "dead" space where they join the clips and tubes. I find the resistance bands so much more compact, efficient, also easy to travel with. The workout flows much more smoothly without trying to quickly change handles, clips, etc; with tubing I found myself taking unwanted "breaks", which was frustrating because they break the rhythm, the breathing, the flow, even the meditative quality working with resistance tubing or bands can offer. The bands function much more smoothly and lend themselves to good "flow" and mindfulness even while doing challenging strength training. I find the bands much more enjoyable and conducive to focus and centering than the hardware-laden tubing. The UnderSun bands are an excellent quality. Careful inspection of each band revealed no defects or irregularities i workmanship, and the material looks very durable. I believe if conscientiously cared for, they will last a good number of years, relative to how often and how stringently they are used, I'm sure. But they seem truly excellent. Finally, UnderSun customer service is stellar. My bands arrived very quickly, I received a friendly follow-up email, and offer of any assistance needed. I purchased a bundle which included a training package, and access to a closed facebook group. This group is very friendly and supportive, and the company is extremely helpful and supportive as well via email. They are just a really good group of people who seem to really care about others' wellbeing and fitness, as well as striving to operate an excellent, American business. I am a 66-year-old female with no affiliation to UnderSun, and I bought my bundle with my own money. My highly positive, 5-star review is solely based on my opinion and experience. UnderSun folks deserve every star and more.

Great product so far!
*30 DAY UPDATE* These bands are amazing! They haven’t stretched out at all (so far). Don’t be fooled by them being skinny or “easy at first”. These bands will give you an insane work out. Also, invest in their workout program or another. You definitely don’t want to just start doing random exercises that may or may not work that specific muscle group your focused on. Make sure to buy gloves as it makes your workout 10x better since you can easily grip and hold the tension you need. Lastly, I bought the “boss” brand door anchor. It has helped with a lot of exercises and I highly recommend it for your workout equipment set up! I would definitely buy these again and plan to buy some for my wife so we can exercise together! I bought these bands because I didn’t want to have a ton of free weights all over my garage so this allowed me to have tons of exercise options in a small package. First reaction is that these bands are very well made. When I purchased them, the shipping time was almost a month out however I got them in a WEEK! Also, I have spoken to their customer service reps twice and both times got a response back that was helpful and friendly within a few hours! The bands themselves are rigid and seem very sturdy. I just did my first workout with them and they kicked my butt. Don’t be fooled, these are the real deal. The storage bag it came with is also well made and convenient. So far, I can definitely recommend this product and company! Will update in 30 days.

Definitely worth the money
After watching videos from the founder on how to use them, my husband and I decided to get them. Along with videos, you can also buy the workout posters for resistance bands and loops for some ideas. It comes in a drawstring bag so it's portable. You can take it with you to the gym or the park. It's durable so even the extra light band won't break on you. These bands honestly will save you space and money compared to buying free weights, especially if you live in an apartment or a tiny house. You can get the equivalent amount of resistance with free weights with these bands. If you're buying this as a true beginner, start with the extra light band. If it's too light, go up to the regular light. Need more? Go to the medium. The exception to this? Pull ups and parallel bar dips. Start with the heavy or extra heavy band and as you strengthen your arms, shoulders and back, lower the resistance until you're able to support your own weight. I'm using the extra light and light bands to challenge my pushups. I'm learning to use the heavy band to loop it around my pull up bar & do pull-ups and sit down the floor to do pull-downs. This is awesome if the gym is not (or no longer) your thing. This may seem like a lot of money up front, but the more you use it, the quicker it pays for itself. You will get results with these, but you have to put the work in. It's not an overnight thing, so be consistent.

Versatile and good for all use. But one of them is tearing apart
They are good to pump blood to your muscle. Enough stimulus to hypertrophy+ healthy diet you can stay fit. Good color it gives you energy. I feel more powerful at gym. But they are close. Xligh band:. Good for rehab. And warming up. But you need to do like 30rep to feel something. I don't like building muscle like that. I rather do 8 to 12 rep . They are fun to hit people. Light band: good for all use 20reps and burning sensation hits on. Good for beginners. hi reps. And small muscles. Medium:. Best over all for arms and legs. but really hard for lateral deltoid. If I could choose one for all around it would be this medium size, and maybe the light band. Plus... you can shorten the distance in this one it would feel like. The heavy. But with less elasticity. Heavy: is really heavy. But it can be good for big muscles. I rather do push ups and pull ups. X heavy:. Kinda useless for me because I am not super strong. Jaja use it for 5 max reps But. Loop bands are better for more natural movements. it gets pretty unstable I really like them but light band is cracking with only 2 uses. Maybe I can remplace them. But I am not so sure of quality anymore. I might try iron infidel. Or maybe just buy medium and light bands

Clearly the best product on the market! Long-time free weight enthusiast converted!
Review from my husband: I have been lifting weights for strength, body-building, and sport training for over 35 years. I have never even considered band training until just recently, when I was browsing You-Tube videos for strength training. I initial purchased handled tube bands from Amazon after researching the best option. However, after the purchase, I then discovered the Undersun brand loop bands after viewing videos by James Grage. I thought they were initially overpriced, but took the plunge after they offered a 10% discount at checkout. Believe me, it has dramatically changed my work-outs and my philosophy towards training. Although I was always careful about technique and mechanics with weights, I was amazed with the muscle isolation and results of the "time under tension" approach with each body part. I have already witnessed increase muscle growth that I did not think was possible in an aging athlete. It also feels easier on my joints and less dangerous than heavy weights. I still prefer some free weight exercises, but the introduction of bands have made an exciting difference in my workouts. The videos by James Grage are excellent. The quality of the bands is obvious from the first workout, and I don't worry about snapping them like I feared with the tube bands. Work-out gloves are required, but I have had good success with a quality finger-less glove (as opposed to the full-finger glove that is recommended. I was also very surprised to receive a bonus with my purchase - my bag included the quality door attachment by Undersun that normally is purchased separately. I would suggest watching the James Grage introductory videos on You Tube that helped convert me to both the Undersun product and this style of training. Although more expensive, I would highly recommend making the investment in this upgraded product as opposed to the other options on Amazon. You will recognize the difference out of the bag in your first work-out. Plus they look awesome hanging in my gym. Thank you Undersun and James Grage.

Haven't used these yet but they seem great
These bands just arrived today so I haven't actually had the chance to do a real workout with them. So I can't really speak to their durability, but I did a few test exercises and used the door anchor and everything so far seems very high quality and meets if not exceeds my expectations. Bands definitely do not feel cheap or flimsy. Update: Now that I've done an actual workout with them (only one so far) I can say that they do hold up. I put lots of stretch tension on these things and they did not snap. I don't notice any warping or damage or even minor tears. As soon as the tension is released, they return to their original condition without any sign of being stretched out, as if they were never used. Door anchor held up perfectly as well. The outdoor strap or comes with is cool added functionality, but it would be nice if it came with its own velcro or other mechanism for keeping it out of the way when not in use. I just rolled it up into a ball and used some of the rubber bands that came with the packaging to hold it in place and that seems to work perfectly. There does seem to be a learning curve coming to these bands from free weights and cable machines. I think mastering proper technique to get equivalent muscle activation will take some practice. The inverted strength curve of the bands compared to free weights and cable machines makes it harder for me to correctly judge how close or far I am from fatigue and failure and will take some getting used to. I am undecided on whether I would switch entirely to resistance bands with my current muscle building goals. I definitely look forward to at least incorporating them as a rotating part of my workout though. And there's no question that their portability makes for an excellent and convenient workout option for travel.

Do you even band, Bro?
With so many cheaper options of resistance bands on here, it was actually pretty difficult for me to make a final choice. Like many of you, I watched reviews on YouTube, read several internet articles, and of course read countless reviews on Amazon. I finally took the leap of faith and settled on these Undersunfitness bands. At the end of the day, I was willing to spend more $ for quality and more importantly, safety. Well it’s been just over two weeks training with these bad boys, and all I can say is, WOW! I definitely made the right choice. These bands, in addition to the UnderSunFitness “Build” program is changing my body and my overall training mentality. I am an avid gym goer, and have trained with traditional weights for over 20 years. With these bands I’m really able to heighten the “mind- muscle” connection during my training (in some ways more that I am with traditional weight). Plus a big bonus to using bands is that they give me the versatility to train anywhere I want, and I love training outside in my yard on sunny days. I’m around 190LBS, and have already put each band under tremendous stress and strain during my training. I am not seeing any signs of cracking and none have snapped. I am supper confident using these bands, and I believe the quality of material in these is superior to other cheaper alternatives. Remember, You get what you pay for! Look, if you’re on the fence about these, get them. Trust me! These are the real deal. Don’t go super cheap with resistance bands, go with quality and a company that backs their products with great customer service. I already emailed Undersunfitness customer service twice to ask two questions, and both times I received answers within 15 minutes. To me, that’s great customer service. I’m glad to me a new member of the Undersunfitness tribe, and I’m more excited that I just convinced my 60+ year old father to purchase these and join me on the journey to better health.

Torn on these.
I have previously ordered a set of the orange bands and they were fantastic however like all bands these wore out over time developing a small tear and I needed to order replacements. Purchased the orange light band to replace and it snapped during third set. No problem returned for a replacement. The problem is the replacement feels like its ready to snap much quicker than the earlier bands allowing for less resistance. While I don't know for sure it makes me suspect manufacturing has changed for these via either process or formula because these don't have nearly the stretch the previous bands did. These newer bands have the numbers printed on the band where as previous bands did not. Additionally like others have stated these come with some pretty dark marks on them (which coincidentally is where the first replacement snapped at). I really liked these bands and have ordered sets for friends because I recommended them that much but with this new formula or process it may be time to find a different vendor. EDIT: Lowered the star count - All newly purchased bands have developed tears or snapped. Previous set lasted 3 years so a definite change in quality. Previous set did not have these black "burn" marks on them. Moving along to a different vendor. Already purchased a set from Rubberbanditz.

Good quality bands
If you're looking for loop bands for home resistance/gym training, then this brand is what you should be using. They're made in the USA and are known to be good quality loop bands. I've been using these for 3 months now and they are all still in good condition. Perfect for fast, effective, resistance training. Doesn't use up space when not used and best of all, no need to worry about dropping weights/bar/dumbbell on the floor.

Good Quality and Recommended
I bought these bands to replace a cheaper, but decent quality, set of bands that were showing signs of wear. I have been using the Undersun resistance band training programme for a couple of years and decided that I would try these bands to compliment the training. They are a bit more pricy than other bands that I have, but these are good quality and a pleasure to use. They come in two colour choices but this is aesthetic, a personal choice, and has no bearing on the quality or standard. As with all other bands, they are lightweight, portable and great to use on your travels so that you can continue training and pumping those muscles! The resistance is good and smooth and the quality of the material as good or better than other bands that I've seen or used. I use bands for training because I have a hip problem that prevents me from properly lifting weights. Yes, they are completely different from weights but I have been delighted with high quality of training that can be achieved with using only bands. They are also easier on your joints and engage a wider range of the smaller stabilising muscles, ligaments and tendons than weights. I would highly recommend buying or finding a free training programme for using the bands. A formal programme of training will help to ensure that you are doing the correct exercises, in the correct way, at the right time and help to keep you focused and on track. The bag that comes with the bands is flimsy and only really suitable for packaging so you'll need to find a more solid option for storage and transportation. Another important addition to consider is a pair of good quality training gloves. Note - not all gloves are equal and you'll need to find a pair that provide padding in the right places to counteract the bands rubbing and pulling on the skin of your hands. Also, I think that it is good idea to wipe these down with soft clean cloth every so often and especially if you get sweat on them. This may help to prolong the life of the bands and takes little effort so why not! All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase and can see these bands long time - time and usage will tell. Highly recommended.
