Better Wear Men's Tank Top

I gained weight after purchase so I wore this fir the 1st time in a while. The weave is circular, not vertical. Normally wife beaters stretch side to side. These stretch top to bottom. They flatter a guy who's in shape. 17 yo neighbor wears one I gave him but not so much 43 to me, even after dropping LBS.

This is definitely a more "fitted" tank than what I was looking for. The XXL would normally be what I would consider an XL from Hanes or just about anyone else. I like a more loosely fitting tank top for working out. Actually, I like a loose-fitting tank top in general. This is more form-fitting than I would prefer. Might be great for some, but I don't like tight-fitting/form-fitting clothing as a rule. These are now "chillin' in the house" clothes, not "working out at the gym" clothes. The quality of the shirt is pretty good; the fabric initially felt light, but once I tried it on after washing, it was pretty nice. Can't knock the manufacturing or material, just the sizing. So, buyers be warned: if you're not a slender person like the model in the picture, and you have more muscle, this shirt is going to stick to you unless you get a size larger than you would normally order. Might be what you want, but not for me.

The top portion of the tank top fits perfect on the shoulders and chest. I'm a size 32 waist, with little excess body fat. I purchased a medium based on size chart. The waist area of the tank is a bit narrow and hugs the hips. Being the shirt length goes longer than hips, the tank pulls up and bunches around the waist. I have to keep pulling the shirt down. The material doesn't seem to stretch much, so the tank is going to continue to ride up and gather around the waist. If I switch to a large I'm afraid the top portion will be too loose.

So far I'm impressed with the shirt quality with the low price. I bought the medium thinking the large was simply too big (boxy/wide) and I'm glad I chose the size I did. I'm 6'3" and find a lot of American cut shirts are too short and too wide. This is a great fit and the perfect length. The shrinkage was very minimal comparing the fit from pre and post washing. I'll give it a few more wears and wash before I decide to order a few more. I'll update review at that time.

Fits great I'm 5' 9" and muscular, I wear tanks for working out and as undershirts, I purchased a medium and large sized of these to see which would fit better. Both fit great although the large was a little too roomy to wear under another t-shirt These are much higher quality, more comfortable, and cheaper than the shirts I used to get at large retail stores. The shirts are definitely thicker than a normal tank top which is a plus for me as I work and live in a colder climate, the different colored trim also makes these more suitable for casual wear than a plain colored tank top if you were inclined to do so. Overall a great shirt for the money, I will definitely be purchasing more. Picture is of the medium size.

For the price, I like this tank top. I'm 6'2" 190 lbs athletic build and ordered a large. It's long enough for a tall guy, which is rare. In the chest area, it is fitted and it's a bit lose around the middle -- not a tent, just not tight. The quality is decent, honestly better than I expected for the price.

This is a tall skinny fit shirt that holds its shape. The Medium could be called an Medium Tall Skinny fit. I usually wear an american Medium (M/M/M 36-38) or Large skinny fit both of which are usually baggy in the waist on me. If I can I like to wear the MT (Medium Tall) when I can find it. The medium fits very nicely on me. The fabric is some what springy but smooths itself so that while its snug it is also flattering if worn properly. If you are not hour-glass or V tapered in your figure order up a size to allow for a larger waist. If you are 34 inch waist or less the Medium shirt is for you.

For the price of these shirts, don't expect premium fabric. But, it's not bad for the price! Just beware: if you have a broad chest, you may need to stretch it just a little in the chest area. Fit great through my waist, but the chest was just a tad tight. A gentle stretch made the shirt fit perfectly!
