I love this tester. I can handle any size battery and gives result in just a few seconds. It is very accurate and very readability. I like how it is made with big screen. The only thing that I wish it had is nice case or pouch to carry it in.

I had the B2 tester and it died after about 4 years of use. I liked it and decided to replace it with the B4 version. First, it's made well. Second, it's more accurate than the B2 version in that it shows percentage of charge. The B2 version only shows bars. I think both these testers are good value for the money. However, if you only really need to check AA, AAA, C, D and 9volt batteries, the B2 version is a lot easier to use because you don't have to use the probe tip on the B4 version. You just slip the battery in the right slot and you're done. However, I use a lot of different button batteries for various devices. The B4 accommodates them but sometimes you use the probe and sometimes you don't. It's a learning exercise. And testing the AA, AAA, C, D and 9v batteries in the B4 requires two hands. For the price I would buy both but don't have enough room on my work bench for both. I hope this helps others.

Very easy to use, good price for what you can test with this. Needed this for 18650 and CR123A batteries. Battery tester, has a strange glitch when you test a new type of battery it reads error, but if you try again it works fine. Only seems to do it when you haven’t used that battery type before. I have nothing else to check the accuracy but brand new batteries read correctly.

This only gives you a consistent reading on alkaline batteries. I bought this primarily for testing Ni-MH and Ni-CD batteries and it’s completely useless with those. Test the same fully charged battery 5 times in a row in one minute and you will get wildly different results (85%, 15%, 50%, 70% and 10%). If you’re not getting this for alkaline batteries don’t waste your money. I missed the return window or this would’ve gone back as it’s useless to me.

It's not easy to find a battery tester that handles almost all the different batteries found in all the gadgets these days but this Dlyfull Battery Tester is up for the challenge. I particularly like the probe attaached which makes it so easy to test your battery. And the tester can handle a variety of different batteries including Alkaline, NMH, Lithium and rechargeable including speciality batteries in a variety of different tech devices. This was a good buy and it came with a standard quick check tester like the most common testers on the market.

I read about this device in an on-line article since I was in the market for a battery tester. I can't count the number of battery powered devices in my house and when one of them stops working the first thing I need to check is the batteries. I have a battery tester that is part of a battery storage tray but it's very rudimentary and permanently attached to the tray. I needed one that I can take to the malfunctioning device. The article I read pointed to a device that meets this criteria. I ordered this one based on the recommendation in the article. When it came in I was ready to try it with a number of batteries I had put aside for the purpose of checking out this tester. I used it to check various battery types (AA-Alkaline, AAA-Alkaline, Ni-CAD, L-ion). The results confirmed that the batteries were generally in the condition I suspected they were in. The readings displayed showed the terminal voltage and the percent of charge remaining. I worked as an electronics engineer designing test equipment so I'm always looking for inadequacies in stuff like this. I can say I have 100% confidence in the tester. If you have a lot of battery powered devices, get one. I'm glad I did.

Comes with no instructions, there is no off or on switch, cylinder batteries have to be tested with matching the positive contact to the tester, witch just doesn't feel right, the Tester is a little spendy , but does show testing for rechargeable and standard batteries, it seems to work OK.
