Great game! Note: There is a known issue with the DLC code and a way to resolve it!
There’s a known issue with the DLC codes, and you can get resolution from the publisher. I first saw this on sale here, thought to myself that it’s going to be one of those stereotype cute sugar overload light hearted RPGs. What got me interested was it has turn based combat and all that convinced me to give it a chance on a whim without doing any more investigation. While I wasn’t wrong about my first impression, I was surprised at the depth of the story and that this game has some dark story elements. The story isn’t too complicated, and the combat is certainly something I found fun. Upon completing the game, I was intrigued to find out that this game is a remake of a mobile phone game that has many sequels. I hope they are able to give the same treatment to the rest and bring it to console/pc!

Fun game, cute designs
Late to this game, but it was worth it! The redeem codes no longer works. Expired in august 2025. Really enjoyed playing this game! Hopefully they make another one soon!

Fun so far. There's a way to get a replacement DLC code.
**Update 12/20/2024** I checked the @PMStudiosUSA Twitter/X; there's a tweet telling how to get a replacement DLC code for the costume. You have to upload a pic of your game's case and give them an email address to send the new DLC code to on Google Docs that's linked in the tweet. My new code worked. ----- I've just played for a few hours but it's been fun. I was disappointed the DLC doesn't install for physical copy. I used the code in the Nintendo eShop it installed for the digital copy because the digital copy icon showed up on the Switch home screen after the DLC installed. When I tried going to the eShop through the physical copy's settings, it lead to the error saying the product wasn't available. The in- game DLC link leads to the same eShop error screen. The game is fun, but I'm a little mad about the DLC code on the paper game's case not working.

Cute but slow paced and simple
I am buying as many physical games as I can that are JRPG’s and heard about this one. The combat is turn based and it has a world building element and tells the story of a cute witch without all the intrusive messaging some translators add in. In addition I read it was a mobile game that was ported and watching the lets plays thought why not. What I didn’t know was it is fully Japanese voice acted and the videos must have muted the voices because they can get annoying with so much yelling. This threw me off and the cultural aspects are confusing but you are a witch a stand in for Japanese spiritualist maidens that can talk to the forest and you have to fight through a goofy story to restore balance and fight a kingdom to gain acceptance. Still not done with it but played enough to say it can get grindy and it is cute and fun. As an adult male if I was 11 or 12 I would have enjoyed it more but being in my 40’s I used the parallels of culture to immerse myself in it. It is simple and everything is unlocked and linear with the ability to explore and improve your abilities while upgrading your living space. It is a standard JRPG with a female protagonist and has good messaging for girls so it is more for females over males but still fun. I bought it on sale just to have it and it does the one thing it’s supposed to do get you invested into playing it. It feels like a PS1 game or 3DS game and just good enough to have. Since limited run games and a lot of physical game retailers are making physical copies of games more scarce I pick up anything I know I will like. I like this and can see myself playing it more than once and as a collector if my switch goes this goes and I know there are other versions but this one was the simplest one to get. It feels old but it has good satire a simple fun game nothing special but fun. The graphics won’t wow you the music is not overly abrasive and the turn based elements are slow to start but gets better later. If you are not a collector and know a teenage girl into anime and JRPG’s with a switch than this is your game.

A nice game
The game arrived earlier than expected, it arrived intact and it was in perfect condition. The game is a is colorful with nice RPG elements and some life sim sprinkled in. It offers a nice easy going experience but does offer higher difficulties if you’re interested in challenging yourself.
