Why is there a fifty percent markup between the 1/4" set and the 3/8"? It just cost you a sale.

More steel and machine setup takes time. Thickness determines hardening time spent. Machining time is way more in setup than it is doing the job. Has to be right the first time. These are great turning tools

So far these turning tools have been fantastic for my old lathe, they stay sharp for a long time and seem to handle everything from aluminum to mild steel just fine, thanks to them being pre-ground they're very easy to sharpen and hone when needed, the fit and finish on them is absolutely amazing.
