Works just like oem
I bought this to replace the driver side mirror motor on my 09 Silverado that looked and sounded like it was ready to hit the can any day.Getting to the motor was labor some and a bit of a pain, maybe about 25 minutes removing plastic pieces until it finally came out. After that it was just 3 screws holding this in. It plugged right in, everything fit perfectly, and I made sure to test it before putting everything back together.Now folding and unfolding the mirror is back to being fast and reliable without any issues.It’s been about 3 weeks since i put this on and it’s still going strong. I like to close my mirrors any time I’m in a parking lot so that no one smacks it or accidentally bumps into it, so I get a lot of use out of this.

No wiggle and folds
5 stars right now. Just installed and was a breeze to install and works flawlessly. Will be testing it to make sure it holds up. Now I need to replace the pass side. Both mirrors stopped folding and were loose. 2009 Silverado

Works well for the price
The motor works well for the price but just realize you get what you pay for. When going through the carwash, the blow dryer will actually blow the mirror in. Definitely not a deal breaker

Some batches are good, some bad
I received 2 replacements that were shiny housings and both were defective (severe delay after pressing the fold/unfold button). I received the Satin finish housing and no issues.
