Yes, it CAN erase EPROMs!
Arrived completely intact, well packaged. Decently well made for the money, and can be daisy chained together. As of this writing, I would say the bulb has had at least 20 hours of use (not constant, in small intervals), uncertain on the longevity. If you are using this, as I am, to clear old EPROMs, such as AM27C512s, AM27C0X0 series and others, I'm happy to say it works great! It certain emits the correct wavelength of UV light for this task. I figured I'd take my chance on one instead of a month long wait for a questionable import EPROM eraser at three times the price, and I've used it on hundreds of chips at this point. Very little ozone smell. Set your EPROMs in a row on a work bench, lay the light down across all of the chip "windows" then cover the top of the chips/bulb completely with a piece of aluminum foil approximately 8"x11" (not just to help keep the UV in, but to keep it out of your eyes and off your skin). I physically have the bulb in contact with the chip windows, it does not get hot enough to burn you or damage anything. 10 minutes is all I have ever had to wait for fully cleared EPROMs, your mileage may vary, I have not tried a shorter amount of time. Lastly, replacement bulbs are easily available if/when the bulb dies. Enjoy!

Works great for UV Eraseable EPROM's!
Can confirm...this lamp works great for erasing EPROM chips! As advised in another review I laid the lamp on top of the chips and threw some foil over top for good measure. Came back a few minutes later and popped a chip in my T48 and it was good to go, no issues with programming the chip!

Strong Odor, Questionable Quality, and Concerning โOzone Freeโ Claim
I purchased these specifically because they are advertised as 253.7 nm UVC and โozone free.โ I installed one in my window AC and operated it overnight on a timer, 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off, while the bedroom was unoccupied. The next day there was an extremely strong, unusual odor in the room. After entering for only a short period, I became very dizzy and felt like I was close to passing out. I immediately stopped using the lamp and ventilated the room. I cannot independently confirm that the odor was ozone, but given that this product is specifically advertised as ozone free, the experience was very concerning. I also have serious concerns about the quality of the lamps themselves. Both bulbs have a loose piece rattling around inside them. The ends/electrode areas look discolored or burned, and neither bulb has any visible printing identifying the manufacturer, wattage, wavelength, model number, or other specifications. For a UVC lamp being sold as a specific 253.7 nm product, I expected clear identification and much better quality control. I have stopped using them and would not feel comfortable operating these in my home. Photos show the unmarked bulbs and their condition.

A highly effective method for UVC sanitization.
I use it for an added level of air sanitization. The UVC bulb fits perfectly on the top output vent of the DAYETTE AP304, which is in its own right an excellent multi-stage filtration system.

I think it worked.
I purchased a bunch of these to rid the environment of parvo. Although they seemed to sanitize things I didnt enjoy the fact that I purchased them as individuals and the boxes said sold as a set. So im pretty sure someone ripped me off more than usual.

Great stuff
Would use more often but owner isnโt letting physics correctly work to allow fair use of the product or any other technology that can be manipulated by RF and tech without permission

Decent price. NOT suitable for mineral display purposes.
I bought this for a fluorescent mineral display along with an non- ozone producing lamp for a little experimentation. Both lamps emit too much visible light. However, I found the ozone producing lamp useful to freshen an unused, musty bedroom. See my review. I rated this only 2 stars becasue of the exaggerated sanitizing claims in the listed. UV sanitation (it isn't an effective sterilizing method) is touted for home HVAC systems and sold to the germ phobic very widely but it really isn't that effective in most applications. If you want to remove microbes from the air, use a HEPA filyter and upgrade your housekeeping. Without ozone, UV works only on surfaces it contacts. It won't effect anything in a shaded area Also, sanitation with UV takes time. The fravction of a second air is exposed in an HVAC system does almost nothing. These units may keep the coils in an air handler a little cleaner, but the benefit overall is doubtful. I speak as a doctor.
