The Fosi LC30.....a useful little Amplifier Speaker Selector. Being a diy speaker hobbyist, I own many a speaker. Auditioning different speakers and amplifiers has always been a problem. But then comes the LC30...it lets me toggle between speakers and amplifiers with ease. And it comes with a remote at that. The large VU meters give it a bit of a classic vintage look. The VU meters by themselves have adjustable sensitivity and brightness and the yellow is quite pleasing to the eye. It serves it's purpose to the T. I also own a pair of ZA3 amplifiers and some V3 Monoblocks that I use for HT purposes. The ZA3 and the V3 Mono are absolutely superb. Good clean power. I use iFi Audio Zen 2 DAC for my music predominantly streamed on Tidal. The sound is clean and rich and not at all overpowering or over bright throughout the music frequency range. All in all....I can say that all the ZA3, V3 Mono and the LC 30 are superb products and worth their price. Good VFM. Awaiting more good products from the Fosi stable...

This is a cool gadget to have if you want a pair of VU meters for you amp. Goes well with a good Single Malt when listening to Music. In the off position, AMP B is connected to Speaker B. So You can use this unpowered too (ofcourse VU meters will not work and remote control will not work). The box is well constructed. It comes with a remote control to switch to one of two amps or switch to 1 of 2 speakers. It needs to be powered by any 5 volts power supply using a USB-C cable

Apart from it's indented purpose of two amp & two sets of speakers selector this product has a nice vintage appeal to it. How ever there are a few drawbacks that I noticed in last few months of usage. The meters are not so easy to read. It would have been nice if these were like the real vintage type amplifiers (very light yellow dial with less numbers written), simple and easy to read. The sensitivity of the needles is very dicey. At half rotation of the knob and at moderate vol of Amplifier the needles touch the far end of the meter giving a fear that meter & needles will get damaged, my amp is 90w per channel (8ohms). The finger print/impression that comes on the paint finish of all Fosi audio products and this product is no exception so I have put an acrylic sticker film on top to make it less prone to finger prints. One great thing with this product is it let the signal pass in "off" condition when used for amp selection B and speaker selection 2. Can be powered by a normal 5V 1A charger easily. I am using the inbuilt usb in the spike guard/power strips and has not faced any issues till date. The remote is very handy, wish it could control the sensitivity knob rotation, the only drawback of the remote.

It's a great product. The build is really good and brings back the memories of the Vintage era. Thank you FOSI Hope your next VU METER Model has the Display meter multi colour option too. Will buy it also.

It’s fun to compare two amps and the 2 sets of speakers connected in multiple combinations.

The VU meter implementation is not in the right way. Too sensitive against the power, like for every song we might have to adjust it. The movement also not smooth or fast. Only useful thing is the amp/speaker switching

A perfect device for meeting my requirement. Standard build quality.

I’ve been an audiophile and techie most my life and love testing and comparing equipment especially since my first job as a teen where I had access to a room full of audio equipment with switchers to let customers hear the differences. But since those days, I’ve mostly had to rely on memory when trying to compare my own equipment. I have also always been a fan of the vintage and high end feel of analog meters. I never thought to buy a separate switcher or meter because it seemed impractical but here comes Fosi to solve those two things in one, high-quality, efficient and affordable product! I first learned about Fosi a few years ago when I was looking for a solution to put some extra speakers I had to use in my bedroom with emphasis on getting the best sound I could and also modern flexibility to use with my TV and streaming from other devices. After looking at a lot of options, including high end streaming amps and smart speakers that all didn’t seem good enough for the price they were asking for, I came across the Fosi T-20 which seemed too good to be true but I took the risk and haven’t been happier since. I’m getting better sound than most the other options I looked at for a fraction of the price and I even have a cool hybrid tube amp that fulfills the desire I’ve also always had for tube equipment. When hooking up this amp for the fist time, I tested it with all the extra speakers I had to see which ones matched for the best sound but being impatient with having to switch wiring every time, I didn’t do more than one quick listen with each one to decide and left it at that. Since then, I’ve felt I could improve my sound systems everywhere with Fosi equipment so I’ve been checking them out and mainly focusing on their amplifiers until I heard about their new DAC that just came out and then read the features of the LC30 when I was browsing their products. I could use it to give my speakers a true A-B test and add a cool meter to my T-20 at the same time! First thing I noticed when I got the LC30 was the quality, protective packaging to make sure the item inside was unharmed from shipping. The item itself is very cleanly designed and feels solid. Setup and operation is simple and straightforward and it’s nice they used all the buttons on the kind of generic remote to give you different ways to change the settings. I don’t have a tool to test how accurate the meters are but they seem to work fine and let’s face it, it’s just fun to watch the lit up meters dance while your system is playing. For those who have the tools or desire, it’s very easy to dial in the sensitivity of the meters although I don’t think you can set it for two different amps at the same time since there is only one analog dial but that hasn’t come into play for me yet as I’m only using it for one amp at the moment. Switching speakers is seamless with no pop, click or anything else jarring. It just switches flawlessly between my two setups and I can finally give them a true comparison which has already been a very revealing experience for me. I did notice that overall output is decreased slightly with the LC30 between the amp and speakers but that was to be expected and I never listen at full volume anyways so there is still plenty of headroom to work with. Overall, the LC30 is a great addition and tool for me to finally have again as I almost forgot how invaluable it is to be able to switch equipment on the fly. Right now, I have my two top contending speakers set up so I can just switch whenever I have a feel for hearing their different signatures or when one is better suited for the content I’m listening to and it’s another benefit I never gave much thought to having in my audio systems. Highly recommend and I look forward to adding more Fosi products to my systems!

Esto es un bridge, un puente solamente, el aparato funciona en términos de ver tu música hacer bailar a las agujas PERO la descripción que viene cuando analizas el aparato para adquirirlo no es clara. El aparato funcionará únicamente si recibe señal amplificada y necesitas hacer pasar dos canales R y L atraves del mismo. Puede ser obvio para algunos pero no para todos, es decir necesitas dedicar canales y de ahi a las bocinas. Si te gusta el Dolby Atmos, Digital, THX, etc., esto NO es para ti, te mostrara la realidad con canales stereo de lo contrario solo mostrara la señal que se dedica a esos canales cuando usas sonido digital. SI LA INTENCIÓN ES USARLO APARA APARATOS CON SONIDO ESTÉREO ÚNICAMENTE, ENTONCES SI TE PUEDE FUNCIONAR.

Great for switching 2 amps between ne set of speakers - Got two Fosi BT20A single source amps. Needles are totally inaccurate though, and the volume does need to be up a bit to even get them to move, but they're a nice enough addition. For an amp switch, it's perfect
