Works as advertised...but check your pipe size.
First and foremost, this item works as advertised. There's is a catch, however, so read on.Living in hot, humid North Florida requires that A/C drain lines (chase lines) occasionally need to be flushed out. Water build up in these lines can lead to lower cooling and system shutoff when the line is too full. Bacteria and other foul stuff can also build up in these lines, so clean them out. I was taught how to do this by a tech from my A/C company who (ready?) actually wanted to save me the $120 for a service call.My normal procedure was to run a shop-vac hose over the end of the drain pipe and seal it with duct tape. This worked OK, but it was messy to undo, and I was never certain of a good seal. This drain line tool provides a solid seal on the shop-vac hose. The problem for me was the size of the drain pipe. I discovered that my drain pipe and the smaller hose fitting on this tool...were exactly the same size. My pretty accurate measurements on the tool's fitting is 1" around on the *outside diameter* and ¾" on the *inside diameter*. My A/C drain line was the same size.I thought of returning the item for another size, but there's an easier solution if you run into this problem. If you place a ¾" Schedule 40 PVC fitting on this tool, it will fit your same-sized pipe. I picked one up at the local giant home improvement store for about 60¢. However, you can order them from right here:https://www.amazon.com/CHARLOTTE-PIPE-Coupling-Pressure-Piece/dp/B000ZOH5X6/The one I purchased was a great fit and my chase line was cleared of water in just a few minutes. This is a solid product that will get the job done for you, as long as you can work around any pipe size issues.

Works like a charm
I'm an HVAC tech and this thing works great with my Milwaukee M18 portable vacuum. This is an easy first step to cleaning the line. excellent value compared to similar units at twice the price.

Exactly what I needed. It did the job.
We have a central air conditioner on the second floor of our house, and it drains down through the house into the catch basin for our sump pump in the basement. Keeping that drain unplugged has been a real pain. This tool fit perfectly on one of our shop vacs, the other end fit perfectly on the plastic pipe of the drain, and whatever gunk that was slowing the drain was removed quickly and easily.

Does the job. Recommend everyone own one. ( and a shop vac)
I ordered this to blow out the condensation pipe from my air handler unit ( HVAC / furnace) to the floor drain which is 20 feet away. The bozo who put the pipe in did it poorly, its flat along the floor, dude assembled it with 90 degree bends laid on their side, etc all sorts of plumbing fails. Naturally it clogged. I used this and a shop vac to alternate between blowing air pressure down the line or sucking, and it cleared the pipe. Now I can fix the pipe without it full of filthy water.

Great gadget
This worked great to clear any debris that I had in my air conditioner drain hose. Also had a perfect fit fit on my mini shop back.

Insignificant
Not very substantial, just plastic hose and cap. Five dollars would’ve been more appropriate.

Works great after minor alteration.
Bought this to clean out AC drain line. Had been doing the wrap a towel around the shop vac hose thing, but saw someone using a similar attachment in a video. This fit perfectly on my vacuum hose as it has notches for different sizes. Unfortunately the end that attaches to the drain was the exact diameter as the pipe. My fault since I just guessed it would fit. It was an easy fix though. Ran to the hardware store and got an adapter that I glued to the attachment. Only cost 39 cents.Works great, and I like that you can see what’s being sucked through.
