Is this suitable for use in bathroom (bare oak shelves and cabinetry)? Any advice for best application?

Whilst the polish is brilliant for any wood not exposed to moisture, I really wouldn't use it in a bathroom. Condensation will mark the shelves and spoil it. I apply with 0000 grade wire wool , let it harden then buff afterwards. My husband uses his old socks , really works a treat.

Please, does need a sealer? Many thanks.

I use acrylic sanding sealer before the polish. I think it depends on the type of wood and what sort of finish you are after.
