These quality axle gaiters are of the 'split' variety, which means that unlike the original items, they have a seam running along them which allows them to be fitted easily straight onto the axle. Once in place, the seam is easily bolted together using the supplied nuts and bolts. The join should be facing to the side once installed, to allow the gaiter to concertina as the suspension moves up and down.
