Does the job well
Neat bit of kit that takes the guesswork out of yardage without adding faff. It reaches out to about 1,200 yards, with 7x magnification and a transflective LCD. The maker quotes accuracy of ±0.3 yards at 300 and ±0.5 yards at 1,200. There are five modes to pick from, including slope compensation, speed, elevation, straight distance, and a simple memory mode. Flag lock gives a quick buzz when it grabs the pin, and the body has a magnetic strip so it sticks to a buggy or trolley. It is rechargeable, with an honestly daft number of shots per charge. On the course it locks onto flags quickly out to around 300 yards. In a stiff breeze, or with trees behind the pin, it can cling to the background, but a steady second press sorts it. The view is sharp and the dioptre ring is effective. The LCD is clear in bright sun, just a touch dim towards dusk. The magnet holds well on my trolley frame, though I still keep the lanyard on along bumpy paths, because this is England, after all. Good accuracy, sensible features, a robust feel, and strong battery life. For the features and build, it is cracking value.

Magnet isn't great feels strong but has come detached on some cart paths

Highly recommended
The SUNPOW Golf Rangefinder with Slope is an impressive tool for both golfers and hunters looking for accuracy, convenience, and advanced features. With a maximum range of 1200 yards and 7X magnification, this rangefinder delivers high precision results even at long distances. I’ve been using it primarily for golf, and it’s greatly enhanced my course strategy and shot planning. One of the standout features is the slope adjustment mode, which calculates the angle of elevation and adjusts the yardage accordingly. This is extremely helpful when playing on hilly terrain. The flagpole locking with vibration feedback is another valuable function — it locks on to the flag quickly and provides a gentle vibration to confirm the target, reducing guesswork. The optical clarity is excellent, and the 7X magnification makes distant objects sharp and easy to identify. The magnetic strip is a smart addition, allowing the device to attach securely to the golf cart for quick access during play. It’s also rechargeable, which is both cost-effective and eco-friendly. A single charge lasts multiple rounds, and the USB-C port ensures fast recharging. In terms of build, it feels sturdy and compact, and the ergonomic design fits comfortably in hand. It also performs well in various weather conditions. Overall, the SUNPOW rangefinder offers premium features at a competitive price. Whether you’re a weekend golfer or a seasoned hunter, this device provides reliability, speed, and precision. It’s an excellent value for the money and has become an essential part of my gear.

Rangefinder?
The most important thing that a rangefinder has to do is indicate the range to target. This completely failed in that. I won't be ordering a replacement from this maker as it seems they're not able to provide a working unit. Although it functioned otherwise it gave no reading for range during normal operation.

Very good bit of kit for a fabulous price.
Very compact and great for the price. Easy manual focus on the eye piece. Easy to use, and easy to read. Great that it uses USB-C to charge. Even includes a slope function, although I don't really use it. Has different units of measurment to pick from depending on your locale or preference. Has a very strong magnet for attaching to your trolley or cart or even the included belt clip. Great bit of kit.

Great value for money
Arrived on time and have used this already on the course. Really nice feel to it - it works right out the box. The optics are crystal clear and are 100% accurate. The magnetic feature is really useful for storing on the golf cart. The buttons are responsive and the charging seems fast. Makes no sense to spend double the price on others for the same thing.

Seems accurate, charge lasts well
Used this quite a bit over the last 5/6 rounds. Works well and picks up the flag nice and quickly. Seems to be built well, and for a decent price. Screen is nice and clear.

1200 yards of precision
It’s spot-on with distances, adjusts for slopes, and the vibrating flag lock gives you that “got it” feeling. It’s light, sticks to your cart with a magnet, and the battery lasts forever with a USB-C charge. The display’s clear, controls are easy. The 7x magnification makes it easy to lock onto flags or small targets without squinting. The flag pole locking mode vibrates when it’s locked, so you know you’re on point, no guesswork.
