Tons of Info plus some story telling!
My absolute favorite part of this book is the short stories at the end of several chapters! They are hot. In each chapter you can also find a few sentences that are taken right out of the mouth of people enjoying these very techniques! The illustrations leave MUCH to be desired, they look extremely crude and not at all appealing. However I bought it for the techniques not the pictures, and you will be happy! I haven't read this in awhile (however because of the stories I keep it close by for those lonely nights!), but just by reading the table of contents this has a TON of information in it!

While the book itself is fine, I was highly pissed over the fact that I never received my order of this book. It was obviously packaged in a clear wrapping of some sort because while it said it was delivered, some jackass decided to steal it. I had to call Amazon twice because they give their standard line of it might show up tomorrow, did you check all around your house, blah blah blah. I ended up downloading it on my Kindle rather than go through this humiliation again of having to call Amazon regarding the non-delivery of my risque book. The book is great but I was rather disappointed in the way they packaged this very private and personal book.

Clear, Informative, Engaging
This book is extremely clear and extremely inviting. It seems a little silly to read a book about fellatio, a bit counter-intuitive since it should probably be an act learned by practice. However, this book is great for beginners (which I was--and nervous!) or for people who have had practice and are looking for some tips on improvement (which I am--I still go back and revisit it occasionally). The book is not sterile but it's also not wildly erotic, either, hitting a great balance between making the text informative and acknowledging the intimacy and excitement of fellatio.

Definitely Helpful
I speak from the perspective of working as a door girl for two clubs, this book is definitely helpful in spicing up your love life. Yes if you are "creative" there are things you already know or could have pick up tips by talking with your best friends, I am in a really large sorority and we have people that host "passion parties" but there are many more things that people do not discuss like different angles and different "supplies" you can add to your regular routine to impress your guy. You will have some of them saying "I've never done that before" and it will make you look very skilled and talented. I also recommend taking either a pole fitness or yoga class if you need help getting some more moves down or both. A combination of this should really help you out if you are having a few issues. I find this book to be written in a helpful tone and to be more detailed with advanced skills then some others. I am also reviewing the book with a strong english background, no I am not writing like that in this review but I wanted to make it easy to review for everyone, and currently studying library science...therefore I know my books lol.

Gave the girlfriend a few enjoyable ideas, but cuts it short.
Well my girlfriend bought this product as a means to spice up our fellatio experience.Let me begin by saying the book is pretty much a dictionary on the male penis. After reading my girlfriend said she did not learn much except for a few minute different things to do.And off the record there is one thing that is supposed to trigger the males "G-Spot" by sticking your finger into the males buttocks and rubbing some gland. It is uncomfortable and awkward, men do not let your woman do this to you.Overall I am not really satisfied with this book.

Helped Me A LOT!
I wanted a book to help me get more psychologically comfortable with oral sex, and this book was great to do just that!If you (especially if you're a woman, I feel) are into oral sex but have some baggage I feel this book does a great job addressing oral sex on men in ways that other books tend to avoid or just exclude (like "Passionista," by Ian Kerner who wrote "She Comes First," did not, nor is it addressed in "The Guide To Getting It On."). Anything like emotional/psychological hesitancy to get too involved because of the power-exchange that happens, or that it feels anti-feminist, or you're afraid of him pushing your head down, etc. is TOTALLY addressed!Violet's book also covers way more things, like the best positions to go down on a man in, deep-throating, variety of positions, what to do when your jaw/mouth gets sore, etc. I found that even though my partner didn't think I needed to brush up on my going-down, it definitely helped me feel more comfortable with the social stigmas placed on women giving head, and more comfortable with my abilities!Highly recommended! (I'd say buy a paper/hard-copy, not an e-book, so you can flip through it for easy reference.)

Nothing new under the sun...
It had some fun ideas, but not the ground breaking advancements in BJ science that I was hoping for.

It is educational and creates a great a foundation
This book is for reluctant beginners. It is educational and creates a great a foundation. However, I was looking for more advanced course of study.
