I like this candle a lot more than other citronella candles. Usually the citronella smell gives me a headache. The lavender vanilla mellows the citronella scent out while still be effective at keeping mosquitos away.The candle unfortunately is prone to tunnelling. I tried to push the wax down and reform it so I wouldn’t waste any, but it isn’t very flexible to do so.

We live in the desert where flying critters are abundant. These Cutter candles work well and quickly and the subtle scent is pleasant - - not a hint of "this is a bug killing solution." A nice plus is that the label comes off extremely easily, so when it is displayed, it just looks like a slightly frosted, interesting shaped "jar." The only downside is that it is pretty common to have to dig the wick out of the wax between uses.

I swear we have been burning these for months (not everyday just the nice ones) and we still have 1/2 a candle...The smell is wonderful you cant even tell its citronella..it smells like a lavender bath and body works candle I have..will buy again!

This candle only has 1 wick but I supposed that will make it last longer. The lavender smell is not over powering. We didn't smell it unless we were close to the candle. If you don't like the smell of other citronella candles then give this one a try. The price isn't bad and the glass container makes it look nice outside on our patio table.

Nice soft smell. Better than citronella incense smoke. Seemed to keep them away when close by. I'd purchase them again!

You have to be very close to the candle in order for it to work. I purchased a dew of these for my small yard so that my family and I could enjoy the summer weather without getting eaten alive. As long as you were in close proximity of the candle you were fairly safe, not completely. Burns for a long time, which is great, and it smells beautifully.

We live in Texas and at night those little nasty gnats love to come visit our patio. This cancel works great, and it smell good. You still get the citronella effect, but the lavender and vanilla make the patio smell nice. Once your done with the candle, the glass jar is great. Clean it out, and it make a great nick nack jar.
