the best for me, worth the extra money
I heard San Antonio shoes were well-made & comfortable, crafted to last. That all seems to be true. I was hesitant to pay a lot for shoes that are just going to get beat up, but I also need something firm, comfy & extra-wide. These SAS "side goar" meet all the specs!...Nice looking, rugged, firm, comfortable. I am so glad I invested in a high-end men's professional loafer, rather than going with a cheaper copy.

Shoes like a slipper!
I cannot believe how happy I am to find these size 12.5 wide shoes. They are so very comfortable. I have a very hard time finding good quality shoes in my size. They are more comfortable than slippers that I’ve had in the past.

Well made , although expensive
I have been using this SAS shoes for many many years. I had started getting heel spur pain. But once i switched to this shoe, i have never had that pain. No matter how many hours i stand in a day

More comfortable than my walking sneakers
These are by a wide margin the most comfortable shoes/sneakers I have ever worn. I am coming from New Balance 990s, which are also really great, but these are both more comfortable, and way more attractive. These look way better than they appear in the photos. It is rare for me to find a product i like so much. I wholeheartedly recommend these for most people. Also, it’s difficult for me to find shoes that are wide enough for me, I generally take a 4e, the extra wide fit me perfectly.

back folds in when putting on
my husband has a hard time getting the shoe on even with the shoehorn. can you make the slip on shoes with a built in shoehorn like the sketchers?

Maximum comfort
I have previously warn SAS shoes before I retired from work which involved working at trade show exhibits. Standing for many hours. SAS shoes provided maximum comfort. We are now getting ready for a trip to Europe which will involve a lot of walking.

Your shoes, at the toenail end, must be similar to your feet. Do your feet come to a point ?
I liked that SAS put a lot of horizontal shoe space for the toes to move left and right. This cannot be done with other shoe brands which squeeze the toes to a point. Your feet will slide to the shoe front, and SAS made its shoes wide for the full distance. SAS could make the ankle cutout area deeper on its shoes for greater comfort.
