The Everyday Enchantment Tarot: Finding Magic in the Midst of Life Paperback – 15 Mar. 2018

This deck has truly blown me away. I have been aware of it for a long time but for whatever reason I never actually purchased it. I’m so very glad I did as I’m so thrilled with the whole package.The box is very sturdy and well made. The cards are large with a beautiful smooth matt finish. I did trim the borders off mine as you can see by the photo, as I personally felt they took away from the gorgeous artwork.The guidebook is incredible! Probably one of the best guidebooks I have read. It really goes into depth for every card, both majors and minors, really helping you get a sense of the intricate details, symbols and stories within each image.I could go and and on but I will stop there. Treat yourself to this absolute gem of a deck, get yourself a nice hot cuppa, settle in and enjoy getting to know it’s loving and gentle vibe.

WOW! This is an Incredible deck that gets my intuiton going. It's easy to get lost in the scenes and intuit a plethora of scenarios.

Lovely deck, Especially for any one in the UK as many of the images depict everyday UK life although i'm sure many would still resonate with them. The cards have diverse themes and cultures and add a few delightful twists on things E.g. The Lovers card has an elderly couple in the foreground and younger couple in the background Strength shows a lady in a wheel chair on a stony terrain holding a flame. I find the cards easy to read (even as a relative beginner) and beautiful to look at and hold. The guide book and case is lovely, It's clear a lot of love and care has gone in to making sure everything's good quality. In all my years using Amazon i have never written a review on amazon but this time I had to as I am so in love with this deck, possibly even enchanted by it ;0) .

I find this tarot beautiful and I was looking forward to it until it was published. The cards are beautiful, large, with details and very good quality. What I don't like is that to use correctly this tarot you must read the book because Mrs Palin subordinates the meaning of the cards to the drawing and it becomes complex. The explanation of each card is so lost in details (it is divided into three parts) that you do not group the meaning of some well. For me, the "history" part is un necessary.Alnd the letter of the book is very small and annoying so tiny.

Fantastic deck, great quality, beautiful artwork, well written book. The cards are large with a matt finish, is this the end to glossy sticky cards from Red Feather/Schiffer? I do hope so. The box is sturdy & the deck sits in two compartments beneath the book but the cards sit nicely flat. The artwork is contemporary, which many people might find easier to relate to, compared to less contemporary traditional decks. Images are very detailed & full of symbolism. Poppy Palin knows her Tarot. The layout of the book means that each card has a double page spread, no turning pages to continue reading - why aren't all books produced in that way? Overall excellent.

This tarot, the last by the amazing artist and writer Poppy Palin, is filled with beauty and joy, and symbolism galore. It's become one of my new favourites. It's especially poignant that someone who suffered so much created something so uplifting and joyful.

This tarot is so full of energy and life. It has brought tarot into the 21st century it may be a modern deck that some of the worlds Tarot snobs would choose to ignore. But they would be missing out so much. There are people on the cards doing everyday things that we can all relate to. Lots of birds, dogs, and cats fill the cards. The readings l have done with this deck have been so accurate. For a newbie to tarot this would be a good start, as we are not looking at staid images of knights, Queens and kings, but are shown as normal people like you and me. There is so much colour and detail in the cards that even if you felt you were not intuitive, this deck would show you otherwise. l have been a professional reader for sometime now and l have collected many tarot's . But l love the freshness and readability of this tarot. This will be my second purchase as my daughter loved it so much she took my first one off home with her.The cards themselves are big, l did have to trim them but it took nothing away from the images. The cardstock is strong and matte which l like. l could go on praising this tarot! l do recommend it.
