Remarkable value fridge on the move!
There is very little to dislike about this product, if anything! The cooler is robust, strong, made of quality material, pretty good insulator, solid carrying handle, loads of interior space, mains or 12v powered (including uk mains plug and uk car cigar lighter plug with 2x spare in line fuses) and it really does keep things cool to the point of taking out a milk carton as if it were from your fridge at home! Absolutely remarkable how such technology has evolved into this compact efficient unit. The lid is also fully removable for easy cleaning from the interior which is made of a material so easy to wipe over.If there is a negative it will be the fan which when on the mains you can control from zero to maximum, at maximum it is a little noisy, however reducing it to eco mode which is about 7 out of 10 on the scale reduces noise significantly where virtually no noise can be heard, certainly didn't prevent my little boy getting off to sleep in a hotel family room. With the cooler on the back seat of the car the cooler operates at maximum all the time, changing the dial to eco does nothing to reduce the fan speed, it continues to operate at maximum, this is not a design flaw as it is mentioned in the user manual but it can create quite a lot of cabin noise if you have a quiet car. Locating the cooler in the boot is a better option but make sure you keep the top fan clear of anything over it, we used it like this once and noise in the cabin was substantially reduced.Value for money this cooler is faultless, far better than a previous model we had ten years ago which was just a fan with no cooling technology. For a family holiday I total recommend this product for keeping things like cheese, butter, milk, ham, all the normal things out of your fridge in the same fridge like condition as if at home.Brilliant Amazon! Brilliant product!

Cheap and cheerful
Absolutely excellent! A real lifesaver. I bought this for transporting the dog's food on a long journey of six hours. High temperatures all around, but the food was kept very cold and fresh. Nothing went bad.And a real lifesaver! At the holiday cottage, the fridge packed up. This coolbox kept the milk and butter and various other food cool fresh and totally edible for 5 days until we replaced the fridge. I would heartily recommend this to everyone. Not a single word against!

Included as standard both UK mains lead and car lighter socket DC charging.
This is for a planned camping trip. I've tested it yesterday and left it 8 hours without power to see what the results would be.It's listed as capable of cooling a maximum 10 degree less than ambient.I've confirmed this is true, it performs as promised. It is noisy. I won't know if that's loud enough to keep me awake or neighborhood campers so decided to test what the results would be if it was turned off 8 hours. The temperature started at 15 degree Celsius and this morning I found had climbed to 21 so it hasn't been able to keep its temperature for that long. Hopefully we will be able to live with the sound. The tent is long so this will go at the furthermost end from us!!It's nice that there is a cubby for each lead type to live in when not in use, and I like the retro look of it, it remind me of the 70s! I think if I was using this to keep perishables I'd bring along some bubble wrapped ice blocks so at least it had a bit of a top up for the first day. We intend using this for beer and soft drinks / iced coffee. If I was transporting and storing food which needed to be kept 5 degrees c I'd include some ice blocks so at least a few hours it would be boosted lower especially if meat containing or just eat veggie! So bottom line is this won't be like a fridge unless the ambient temperature is 15 degrees or less. It can keep food hot too but I'm not interested in using that. For what I need this suits me well. To chill drinks. I'd rather have a 15 degree Celsius beer than a 25 c one!!Update we used this on a four day camping trip with electric hook up and it was fantastic. The box performance is everything I hoped and expected. Our beer and wine was cool, and the milk cheese and kept cool enough to keep for that time. This box also kept them cool for the way home even though we didn't plug it into the car socket (our single to twin adapter started smoking and melting that's another story!). The box is excellent and large enough for two people or three I'd say to keep them comfy on a camping trip. Who likes warm beer?

Here's what you need to know on how to use this!
I bought this item (Amazon Thermo-electirc cooler) in anticipation of a 2 night camping trip we were going to make in August. Having read some of the 1 star reviews I was concerned whether this would actually be a waste of money and not keep anything cool.I did research on how to get the best out if it and this is what happened…… Basically shortly before we left the house I put in 3-4 ice blocks (wrapped in 2 sheets of newspaper to keep them colder for longer) alongside all items from the fridge (milk, houmous, bacon etc) that we wanted to keep cold. Then as soon as it went in the car, I attached the 12v plug into the cigarette lighter and put in on maximum for the whole journey which lasted 3.5 hrs.Once the tent was up, I plugged it into the mobile mains unit we use (for the electric hook up). During the day, I left it on maximum and at night we put it on ECO mode as it almost silent at that level. The weather was really hot on one of the days too, so I wondered what would happen.I can promise you that the result was truly amazing. We had arrived on the Saturday morning and on the Monday morning everything was as still perfectly cold. I mean really cold. Even the ice blocks were still frozen - WOW! I can’t tell you how amazed I am at how great this thing is. If you go camping and need to keep things at fridge temperatures, then as long as you follow the steps I took, you’ll be fine. You’ll love it!Ps. it's quite noisy on full power but almost silent on ECO, so you won't hear it at night. Plenty of room it in too.
