Velco is super strong

Everything works as described. It's super strong, grips the wrist firmly and allows the hooks and wrist to bear the weight during a pull saving my finger-tendons which were damaged. However, one little issue has stopped me from using them after the first 3-4 workouts. the buckles or steel loops that allow such a strong tight bind with the velcro impinge strongly at the base of the thumb during lifts/pulls. After a while this damaged a nerve that runs up the thumb and both my thumb became numb. It's taken three weeks to get most of the feeling back in the thumb. I guess pressure on the nerve or near it caused inflammation. So watch out, see if you can cushion the base of the thumb. I am searching for a solution so I can continue to use this otherwise strong support.

Product was as intended and a great help

The only nice thing about these were the padded straps. The hooks are not balanced properly to hang on to anything when your grip is gone. During a deadlift for instance the hooks will roll and the bar will fall into your shins. Do not buy. They are worthless. I used mine with an empty bar and couldn't trust the hooks to hang on to it. Never used them with weight so i can't say how durable or comfortable they are to use.

Buckle goes on the inside of wrist otherwise it will cause a lot of discomfort. Very heavy duty the steel rods are not thick rods they have a very thick rubber coating. The spacing of the hooks are very good doesn't interfere to much when lifting.My only complaint is the the hooks are to straight, they need to have a slight curve on the the ends to prevent heavy weights/dumbbells from rolling off during lifting.
