Love these battery powered yard tools!! This blower is more powerful than the one that uses fuel! I was able to blow acorns off my lawn with no problem! Battery lasted long enough to do the front yard, garage and back porch! I highly recommend these Ryobi products! Just bought the weed whacker, but haven’t used yet! Hoping for the same satisfaction!

I bought this blower to clear snow from our porch and sidewalk. My husband and I are in our late 60’s and 70’s. Shoveling snow at our ages is difficult and there is no help in our area. We do have a guy to plow out our driveway, but he can’t get any kids to ride along to clear walkways and this Michigan winter has already been brutal. The battery lasted long enough to do the front walk and the back patio. It’s lightweight, even with the battery, but powerful. We already have the 40 volt batteries for a chainsaw by RYOBI and are familiar with their products. We got 5 inches of snow and the air flow was strong enough to easily clear 160 feet of side walk, around his pickup and the back patio. It was definitely worth the money. It will of course be useful to handle leaves next fall

I bought it as a replacement for the previous similar model by Ryobi. The difference is big since the previous model had a turbo button and the variable switch failed I had to replace it which cost around $50. Eventually motor was failing started to smell and lost a lot of power over last 5 years of usage. I included the pictures comparison of these two blowers. The new blower is amazingly lighter than previous was around 6 lb and new one is around 5 lb without batteries. My estimate it feels like it is 30 to 50% more powerful. Also the sound is more pleasant the turbine is not as whining as the previous. Great buy and I highly recommend it!

Love it good power, as much power as my father-in-law gas powered one. Love the weight of the tool and the mobile flexibility it gives me to get in tight spaces. No messy gas/oil mixture or carb cleaning/replacement with 40V battery.

Make sure to have a backup battery, it goes through them fast. 60-90 minutes

It is surprisingly powerful for an electric blower. I did buy an extra battery and charger from Amazon (non Ryobi) and I’m covered with my yard work. No more gas/oil and ear protection.

The Ryobi leaf blower is light, relatively quiet, and has plenty of power for blowing leaves. The only negative is the battery lasts only about 13 minutes when used on full power. I have found that I don't need to use full power most of the time, which significantly increases the battery life. I purchased three batteries (one Ryobi brand and two no-name Ryobi compatible batteries). Overall very happy with it.
