When the time came to replace my old grungy garbage can, I decided I wanted something with the auto open/close feature. Searching Amazon, I wasn’t surprised to find a whole bunch of different sizes, shapes and costs but I settled on this one because of the color and the rectangle size would fit better in my kitchen space. The canister is the most solid I’ve seen on any garbage can in a while. It doesn’t have any ventilation air holes so when you place in a new bag, work out the air and you’ll be good to go. My 13 gal bags fits perfectly, tight around the edges and there’s no need to roll the edge into a ball to keep the bag in place. The sensor can be a little touchy if I get too close but I’m still learning it’s quirks. It’s not the most expensive can out there but it does exactly what it should without issue. I couldn’t be more pleased.

We replaced our itouchless dual can. I was a bit hesitant because these were not on rollers. However, we are thrilled. We ordered the white to match our kitchen. The can size is larger than we had so we are not running the recycle and waste out constantly.They are super lightweight, yet sturdy. It does NOT take D batteries , which was a HUGE plus!Probably the only draw back, if any, is that the automatic sensor is in the front instead of the top of the can. And if that’s my only worry, I should be so lucky .Highly recommend.

I waited almost 3 weeks for this trash can, the shipping was delayed three times. When it finally arrived i was excited. However, the trash can is just essentially a large plastic bin, with a very cheaply made lid and sensor. Not only does it not work, its not quiet (sounds like a ticking noise). Brand new batteries and the lid sensor just blinks, it doesn't open or close on its own. I wouldn't pay $60 for this..... what a fail.

It’s nice and works well. It slams loudly when though , so returned it.

Great hands free opening cuts down the mess on the trash can. Sensor works great… but the dog does know how to open

I purchased this automatic trash can with high hopes, expecting it to be a convenient and hygienic addition to my home. For the first few months, it worked flawlessly. The motion sensor was responsive, and the lid would open and close automatically, making it easy to dispose of trash without touching the bin.However, after about a year of regular use, the automatic function stopped working entirely. Despite replacing the batteries and following troubleshooting instructions, the lid no longer responds to any motion. Now, I’m left with a manual trash can, which defeats the purpose of why I bought it in the first place.Considering the price, I expected it to last much longer. A product like this should be more durable and reliable. While it worked, it was great, but the short lifespan is disappointing. I would recommend looking for a more reliable option if you're in the market for an automatic trash can.

Battery dies VERY quickly. Also the sensor is too sensitive. It opens whenever someone walks by. Very annoying. Arrived missing a small soft-close pad on the rim and instead of sending me the part they wanted me to return the whole thing and they would send me a new unit. I don't want to be wasteful-the customer service agent told me the whole thing would be discarded if I returned it. There is nothing wrong with it other than the missing piece so I just kept it. Seems strange they wouldn't stock replacement parts. Wouldn't buy again.
