When I bought this was skeptical whether it will perfectly capture weight as the mode of holding the weight is constantly moving . But surprisingly it gives weight almost with close accuracy . Though it is perfect tool for weighing up to 50 lbs, beyond that I guess it is difficult to hold it in hand as the length of the instrument is shorter and would not give enough room (length) to hold it steadily . If the product is more lengthier then it would have addressed that issue . I guess it’s trade off for its compactness. This is not for some one who needs 100 percent accuracy ( decimal level accuracy )

What a handy little device! I notoriously overpack for trips. This scale has saved me from further embarrassment at the airport by weighing my suitcases and carry-ons at home before I leave! I can even carry IT in my carry-on and assist fellow travelers at the airport, saving them and others time at check-in. It can weigh anything you are strong enough to lift, and are able to attach to the hook-strap. The product arrived quickly and was perfectly intact. The included battery is not inside the unit, preserving the life of said battery (good thinking!) To turn the device ON, simply insert the battery and press the button. If you wish to measure in kg, oz., or grams, press the same silver button once then again and again until the desired mode is established. To turn off, simply hold the button for a couple straight seconds or it will turn off automatically after 60 seconds of non-use.

We were looking for a lightweight luggage scale that wasn't as bulky/heavy as our older Balanzza unit and this one looked promising. The backlit LCD display is a nice improvement and the ergonomics are pretty decent too. The strap and buckle design is good, quicker to do/undo. Unit is light and compact as we hoped. Description did not mention a "hold" feature, quite pleased that it does do that. Was a little annoyed that one of the endcaps came right off, will have to glue that on. For the price, its a nice scale.

Good electronic scale. It can be difficult to hold luggage stationery long enough to get weight to lock in. It helps if someone else can steady the bag or use it near a wall. I took away 1 start because it was 5-7 lbs off of airport scales (tested against multiple from different airlines). That is important to note because if bag is 44lbs at home you could easily be over 50lbs limit at airport which is super annoying. Shoot for 40-42lbs at home to be safe at airport.

This scale is perfect for weighing my bigger suitcases that don’t fit on my bathroom scale. It will be great to bring with me for air travel. It has dual settings for kg/lbs. It also has a temperature reading in Fahrenheit and Celsius.

It's good product meant for its purpose. Only concern is in difficulty in lifting and hence 4 star otherwise good product. I recently received this product and so far so good. Will get to know more on long term use about its sturdiness and durability. I would recommend this product for frequent flyer traveling with baggage and not to get charged extra for over weight luggage.

I bought it to measure weight differences around 0.08lb/40g. The purpose was weighing my newborn son before and after the meal, while he was in and out of the car seat. The problem is that for the correct weight to show up, the hook must be EXACTLY vertical. Otherwise, even a slight tilt will cause differences in measurement of the same thing up to 1lb. Achieving this strict vertical position by just holding the scale with your hands is virtually impossible.I temporarily overcame the issue by fixing the scale on a flat wooden surface. Since it's not flat itself, but rather curved, it's hard to level and the measured weight still may be inaccurate. But at least the difference between every two weighing is somewhat more reliable (I calibrated it with some dumbbells)Anyway, I ordered a baby scale, as this workaround of mine did not work well for me. I guess I can still weight suitcases with it, when going on trips

Not sure how to change from kg to lb etc. It does have an instruction, but theres only one button on the device. It is press and hold and press and hold for 3 seconds for switching and turning on/off. It is a bit confusing to be honest. Item works good though. packaging is good too as well.
