Can it work for plastic water bottles?

Some but not all. It only works with beverages that have flat surfaces on the bottom.

How many 1 minute spins go with new standard batteries in this thing?

It depends on the quality of the batteries but we would expect 20-40 uses per set of batteries.

Does this work with mini can (like mini diet coke)?

Hi, yes the CHILLPILL works with all can sizes 16 oz or less including mini cans.
