Sturdy, well made, very bright. Was easy to install on existing octogon electrical box.

There are very well made. They’re not the cheaply made fixtures you get at big box stores. All cast aluminum housing. They put out a good amount of light. If you’re looking for outside lighting I would highly recommend these.

Good lights bright and work as they should

Bought these to replace the older exterior lights left behind from our home's previous owners. While the previous lights barely lit a small patio area, these lights illuminate our entire large yard. A huge upgrade in safety for our dogs and security for us. The lights were a bit difficult to retrofit into the square junction boxes that we had to work with and it took a bit to figure out how to securely mount them. That said, they look great, function perfectly, and provide excellent light. As others have said, I would also buy them again and highly recommend them.

Very compact, and bright, it a flood type light ,put out a good light up to around 25'

Mounted the unit and it performs as expected. The metal casing for mounting helped hide imperfections on the building surface since I was able to fasten screws with more force than units made by other manufacturers which use all plastic.

High quality and bright. Some reviews noted the bases have "X" mounting configuration and NOT an "+" pattern. In my case, the existing lights utilized an "X" pattern so upgrading to the Hyperlite was easy.

Very bright

Despite the excellent price, these lights are well made and are highly functional. Unlike so many lights and other products that plug into the mains, these ones are UL certified. What most people don’t know is that if an uncertified electrical product causes a fire, then your insurance company may not pay out. They can argue the cause was negligence on your part for using an unsafe product. It's easy to hop onto the solar-powered bandwagon, but being wired-in has its advantages as well. Without a solar panel which will certainly degrade over time, these Hyperlite lights will always have the same great performance. This is especially important if you want your lights to stay on until dawn. Being wired-in also allows you to use a light switch. A third option also exists for having your lights turn on and off automatically if they are wired in. You could purchase a timer and set it to have the lights turn off at 11:00 every night, for example. This would provide light during the main waking hours but will prevent the neighbours from being annoyed past their bed time.

I installed this to light up a dark drive way. The built in photocell allowed me to wire it off an external power outlet, and to not need a switch. This really simplified installation. A 30W LED light is pretty bright, but it is not spotlight-bright, the light is quite a bit more diffused, and less harsh.

Excellent quality, very bright 30W light that’s easy to install with all hardware included. The 5000K daylight color and built-in photocell provide automatic on/off for convenience and energy savings. Durable aluminum housing (IP65 waterproof) makes it perfect for garages, driveways, or cabins. Great value, especially on sale.

These are VERY bright. They generate a nice 3000K warm light. They come well packed in a thick cardboard box, and include a bag for each light which includes 4 wire nuts, 4 wall plugs, and 6 machine screws for each light. They seem to have a small rubber gasket at the top of the lens where it meets/mates with the brown main body, so it will easily stay dry. I mounted 2 of them on top of my patio doors on my rear deck, and they provide great coverage. Love the fact that the dusk-to-dawn photocell sensor can be bypassed, since they are connected to a light switch. Plenty of mounting options and ways to feed power to it. I mounted them in the wall over my patio doors, against a junction box. The foam gasket on the back helps to keep it sealed. Overall great set of lights and great value since you get a pair of them.
