Little tin is cute and decorated nicely, but, a little costly.

Very nice but didn't stay long at me

I love the fragrance Lilly of the Valley, but this balm was a total dud. There was absolutely NO smell to it at all. Reviews have been favorable, and I simply cannot understand why. This very small tin is about the size of a half dollar and sells for $19.99 which I think is outrageous. The manufacturer refers to it as a balm, but it felt more like wax. There were moisture drops on the top when I opened it which could possible explain why there was no scent to it. I was disappointed in the product.

scent didn't last too long and it is not very potent. It is a good product for a very subtle scent that doesn't last. I think the idea behind this is good, but the execution was not there.

I'm new to perfume balms, and have been really enjoying this solid version from High Altitude Organics. The tin is small, but the balm consistency is quite smooth and easy to apply with and a little goes a long way. While the perfume is advertised to have notes of lily of the valley, mimosa, sweet cassis, and hyacinth, I found that the perfume was a little one note. It was very strong on the floral lily of the valley notes, which is rather green and sweet. I found that the balm perfume had a reasonably strong longevity-- I noticed that it stayed on my skin for at least 6+ hours. I would recommend applying this at your pulse points, by your wrists and behind your ears. I really enjoyed using this solid perfume and will definitely consider purchasing the neroli version in the near future.

Valley Lily is a very interesting scent that captures the headyiness of the tropics in a half ounce sized tin!It's very floral, but not like hugging a granny sporting Avon. No, no, not, this is something else entirely. Heady and floral, yes, but without the histamine kicking up the senses thing that happen every time I dare to think it would be ok to, idk, put a vase of fresh picked hyacinths in the house or spritz on the wrong department store perfume, though the company is correct in stating that a little of their product goes a long way. They suggest putting it on outside. The toddler and I tried it out in the bathroom and we survived, though I did have to snatch it from him pretty quick before he smeared ALL of the nectar of the gods on us in one fell swoop thinking it was lip balm. It is not.Two things in particular stood out for me from High Altitude Organics product listing about this item: They are...-the idea that you can layer this with their other perfume tins to create your own unique scent. I've always wanted to create a scent just for me so this idea is simply brilliant because it doesn't require me becoming a chemist or botanist to play with fragrances.-that fact that the ingredients that go into this tin have beneficial nutrient properties for the skin as well as a wonderful scent. An idea I hadn't even considered when ordering this perfume.Al in all, I'm very excited to have been introduced to this product and will be looking forward to creating a collection of others from this company to experiment with. These would make a great gift, though they are priced a little too high for everyday party favors. I can also see giving this to someone who yearns to get away to the tropics, literally. I bet this would make a thoughtful gift for them, especially if it was hiding tickets on the Love Boat, or whatever lol, but even as a thing to say "hey, I can't take you there right now, but here's a whiff of your dream until then."

This product does not smell like lily of the valley. So disappointing!
