The first time I used this oven, I prepared an awesome baked chicken thighs and vegetables dish. Food looked better than when it comes out of my home oven. It s easy to set up and carry. I use it for meals and making fresh chocolate chip cookies too. Having one of these when camping makes a huge difference in meal variety. My stove surface is a little small so I had to carefully balance the oven on top, but I like using it so much that I bought a separate single-burner stove with a large flat surface just for baking. This device is heavy duty, performs well and can be used to bake anything.

The jury is still out. Haven’t been able to use in real conditions. I’ve cooked biscuits in it in the driveway. They burned. I got the cover to hold the heat and I’m getting a heat distribution plate. Temp gauge is unreliable so I go a better one. Need to play with it to find the REAL capabilities. I’m keeping and will use it.

This works well as long as you don't need an oven temperature over 350°F. It simply will not get hotter than this no matter how long it's on the burner. Even with the burner on as high as it will go, it does not get hotter. I think there are too many air gaps in its construction. The knob to open the oven door gets extremely hot also, so use caution. If it's windy (above 10 mph), this doesn't heat up past 250°F because the flame is affected. Overall, though, it's a great little oven. We RV a lot and do not use the indoor oven because it heats the RV up too much. This is great to have on hand to use on our side burner on our grill.

This camp oven has been a game changer for our camp kitchen. I have baked everything in it from biscuits to full meals and it performs great every time. The heat is consistent and it cooks evenly which is not something you always get with camp gear. What really stands out is how compact it is. It packs down easy and fits perfectly with the rest of our setup without taking up a lot of space. It is simple to use and works great with our camp stove. If you enjoy cooking while camping this is a must have. I would absolutely buy this as a gift for fellow campers. We will also be doing a full review on our YouTube channel but based on our experience so far this is one of the best upgrades we have added to our setup.

I bought this little oven for camping. It has its pros and cons as all products do. First of all I’m going to start with the pros. It’s very portable, easy to set up, easy to tear down, and very easy to clean. I had my husband make two more racks for the inside. It only comes with one rack. But I wanted to cook more in the oven. So I added additional ones. Which works out great. I also bought more small pans to bake in, I just went to my local Dollar tree and pick some up there. They were just as good or if not better than the ones they sell on Amazon. And more affordable. I was able to cook steak, chicken, pork chops, baked potatoes, biscuits, breads, and cake. All in this little tiny oven. I could not have bought a better product. Now for the cons… the thermostat is way off. I could not get it up higher than 200°. So we had to play with it a little bit and we figured out the problem. The small oven comes with multiple tiny holes in the walls. Little holes to hold the baking rack on, also there is holes where the carrying handle is at, and the folds of the oven when you try to break it down and put it away. Once you set the oven up, you will notice all the little holes that it has. We figured out this is where all of our heat is coming out of. And we couldn’t get the temperature above 200°. So my husband did some research and read a lot of reviews. And decided to invest in a Heating cover for the oven. We also purchased another thermostat so that we could hang inside the oven to keep an eye on the temperature. And that did the trick. The secret was the Heating cover. The temperature was right on queue using the additional thermostat that we had purchase. I highly recommend in purchasing an additional thermostat and heating cover. When using this a little oven. With that my food came out perfect I thought I was cooking at home. I will never go camping again without this little oven!!!!

We used it over an open fire, suspended about 6 inches above the flames, to cook 9" pan of cornbread. it took 1.15 hours to cook. The thermometer on the oven never rose above 300F. It was easy to put together, the knob was cool to touch. The oven sides and top were very hot. A dutch oven cooks faster, but it's also definitely heavier to pack in. The unit folds open, has two latches and 4 tabs that once engaged make it relatively sturdy. I like the idea that it is easier to use than a dutch oven, lighter, you don't have to make and count charcoals. I just hung it over the fire, opened a drink, stirred the chilli and then had dinner!

I do have to give 5 stars! Compact, it does the job, with a thermometer on it! I mean IS GREAT! I bake 2 cakes in the middle of a campground on a fire! Amazing!

I just baked rice pudding in this oven on my stove top which is how I planned to use this Camp oven. I read in the comments that the door thermometer was not very accurate so, I put my own thermometer inside the oven to check it out. Good thing because, my thermometer read 350 degrees...the exact temperature to cook my rice pudding while, the door thermometer read 100 degrees and, it stayed that way throughout. That's 250 degrees OFF! If I didn't use my own thermometer and went by the door thermometer, I would have cranked up the flame to increase the inaccurate temperature read out on the door thermometer and, the rice pudding would have burned. And worse, the glass dish would have probably broken under the unnecessary excessive heat I would have applied TO get the door thermometer to read 350 degrees since it was 250 degrees lower than it should have read. I am returning it.

We are happy with our purchase. I do recommend putting some fire bricks at the bottom of the oven. It heats up very quickly works great and we are happy with it.

Uninsulated - which was a mild surprise to me. It does the job, but the stove is maxxed out.
