I haven't used this Mandoline yet. I received it in perfect condition, took out the box, separated all the pieces and hand washed (I don't use my dishwasher ever). After drying, had to figure out how to put it all back together - I got the Mandoline 11-n-1. The manual that shows how to organize it wasn't very clear - to me - but I figured it out. That's when I realized the whole thing is actually 4 individual pieces and doesn't all fit together as ONE. So that means every utensil is exposed. I thought - for some reason - that it would all package up as a whole unit. It does not. So I have to store it as you see in the second image, with the bag tied up and placed in one of my cupboards. I live in the desert and have 2 long hair cats, there's always cat hair (I sweep every day and mop every other day), when the wind blows, the fine desert sand dirt grit finds its way inside. So having this equipment as a whole unit with everything enclosed would certainly have been appreciated. As is, in the bag, it takes up half of one of my 4 top kitchen shelves, so what was there is now in another bag out in the garage on my appliance storage shelves. Suffice to say, I would have paid more to have the whole of this in one container, rather than 4 separate pieces tied up in a grocery bag to store.

I reviewed several different slicer/choppers before buying this one. I was really pleased by how sturdy it is and the assortment of slicers and cutters. I really like the peeler which is multifaceted. The only problem with this is the storage. The egg slicer doesn't really fit in the container which means you have the slicers in one case, the case and top and the egg slicer. Just a small inconvenience though. I loved the mandoline slicer as well as the peeler and anxious to try out the rest. I have no doubt they'll work just as well. Kudos to the manufacturer for including the glove.

I tried to use this item multiple times. I don’t know if it’s defective or operator error but I can’t seem to get it to slide properly. Tried to return it, but it was past the return date and now stuck with a defective product. Update - I reached out to the vendor and they promptly replied and addressed my request. I am pleased with the resolution of this matter and give the vendor 5 stars for customer service! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Used for the first time a few days ago. It made short work of 5 pounds of potatoes. Nice even slices, very, very sharp made it easy to use. Didn’t slip & slide on the counter. All in all, a keeper.
